  1. I brought mine to a local garage and they couldn't do it🫣. They were wanting to take the headlights out but were giving me no guarantee I wouldn't have problems with front sensors etc after removing the front bumper, I told them to leave it and I sold the bulbs on FB marketplace.
  2. One trick I've used on other cars was to raise the rear of the car, if working outdoors put a back wheel up on the kerb the bulb will stay in place better while you're making that split second move to grab the eye of the spring clip. I never managed to change mine it was ridiculously difficult so I left the original bulbs in place.
  3. Well you couldn't make that mistake with any cars I've owned since 2017, a message would appear on the dash, turn on dipped headlights...
  4. One word, Hyundai. Every Hyundai I meet has no lights on, even the local coppers are guilty of this.
  5. I wonder could you have alternate flashing of the DRL and the indicator bulb? I had that on a 2017 FL Octavia and it made the car much more visible as the standard bulb was very difficult to see especially in sunny conditions.
  6. AHH feck, I was delighted when I saw this post, turns out you're in Australia @ 60 odd bucks they aren't cheap either.
  7. I have a Superb iV and with the shocking rise in electricity prices since I bought it I'm strongly considering going back to diesel. Mine is supposed to do 50Km per charge, not a hope in hell. It's summer and I can just about squeeze 40Km out of it, in winter it barely does 25Km. Road noise is dreadful and the heater is non existent. Think I've had it with electric power tbh.
  8. As the title says my car has stopped sending information to the Skoda server and hence to the app on my android phone, no new info on my Ipad either. The little globe on top of the radio is greyed out and info is dated 9/5/23. This happened last December and I was without info for almost 3 weeks. Stupidly I contacted Skoda support and they just made everything worse by sending me instructions for a different head unit and getting me to do things that resulted in me losing all the cars stored data, they hadn't a clue what they were doing tbh. The radio came back online by itself on christmas day without me doing anything. I don't fancy chasing my tail with Skoda again, would anyone here have any suggestions? The car is a March 2021 iV style model with the Columbus head unit. One thing I did notice was the system rebooted by itself around the time it stopped sending info, I didn't take much notice as it goes through phases of rebooting and eventually settles down. The subscription is active until July, guaranteed it will be working when renewal is due....
  9. Follow your own advice then, get better lights and your eyes tested. You could always get 16" wheels 😏
  10. And never got a puncture? Or hit a pothole? You're a marvelous man indeed... I bow to your superiority 😏 and that superman vision.
  11. That's a pretty nasty post seems to be your style lately. Have you ever done private hire or taxi work?
  12. You could go for 16" alloys from the lower spec model. The amount of passive aggression on this site is shocking, it invades every thread irrespective of what the thread is about.
