I had an "Oil Sensor Warning - Workshop" message yesterday. A quick trip to the dealers, they cleared down the errors on the computer and all was fine. Also, a minor rattle in the back of the car was located and fixed by me slotting a piece of card behind some trim. I hate rattles!

I tried CM a few months back and it killed the battery life on my phone. I'll wait for the 10.2 stable release and may well give it a try. Thanks for the tip. Damian

I wonder what different protocol (if that is the issue) the Galaxy S3 is employing that the Nexus 4 isn't? I bet there's a Android ROM out there that can resolve the problem, but I'd rather not have to keep flashing and re-flashing the different ROMs to find the one that works.

I reflashed my Nexus 4 phone with Purity ROM & Purity Kernel yesterday, phone runs faster.... Contact photos still don't show on Amundsen!

Make sure that the drain holes on the bottom edge of the door are clear.

If you're ordering or have ordered a new Octavia, then you maybe should have specced it with the Canton audio upgrade. It's a 10 speaker setup with a subwoofer built into the boot. It's awesome.

Hello people, Has anyone with a new Octy III, fitted with the Amundsen or Bolero stereo been able to get their mobile phone contact photos to show when making or receiving a call via bluetooth? If so, what phone do you have? It doesn't seem to work with my Nexus 4. Thanks,

The colour maxidot is of a higher resolution and has smoother animation than the mono maxidot. Functionality wise, there's no difference. But for me at least £80 well spent, I think. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4

Just to add to what Matt Pez wrote, I had a new MkV Golf back in 2004 and got the service interval set to variable from new. The service light came on at 8500 miles! Mind you, I did have it remapped and drove it like I'd stolen it. :-D Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4

AT LAST! I'm surprised it took you so long! I'm certain you won't regret it. Regarding your wife, if she asks just say it only added a few quid a month to the payments (that's how I got away with mine.... then the satnav.... then the bluetooth+, etc, etc, etc.)

IMHO, the salesman is a plank for not spotting the opportunity to "up sell" you, and is a plank if he can't tell the difference in the quality of the two setups. If I were his sales manager, I'd give him a kick up the trumpet for both of the aforementioned reasons! It beggars belief how little some sales people know about their products. Granted the sound quality of the standard setup is good, but the Canton is AWESOME! (& well worth the extra money!) If your car hasn't been built yet and you're still interested, there may be still time to add the Canton speaker upgrade to the order. However, go and take a listen with your own ears first!
