I've just text my friend & he meant to tell me that it was a top mount bearing, not a top mount.... so I'm right in thinking this wont fit my sport suspension top mounts?

wait a min, I don't think that's the case, mines the sport model. if you look here http://www.vwspares.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=179 the part number is listed below. but if you look at the sport one... http://www.vwspares.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1452 it's not? so does that mean it doesn't fit the sport suspension? & I do remember the top mount being the same as the sport one pictured...

I don't get how that link tells me there the same part? the steels were great after I'd grinded all the rust off the lips as at first the tyres wouldn't hold pressure on the corroded surface! - Thankyou, they worked a treat once I sorted that.

Hi their. I'm wondering if anyone can answer my question to weather these top mounts, part number 6N0412249C will fit my 1.9tdi? the top mounts were originally ordered for a friends 1.2 52/2002 reg car, & was wondering if they would fit mine (PD 100 1.9 52 reg), since all the strut sizes on the polo are the same.. (presume it is the same as the fabia) Can anyone help? Cheers!

^ That is what I was thinking, I've emailed RS tuning who mapped the car, to see their reply, but I just so happen to have a downpipe lieing around, so might try it one day for the funnys! Anyone else any experience with it?

how can it be bad for the turbo? tbh, if the turbo did go bang in my car, all the more reason to swop out for a bigger one :p The MOT bit wont effect me, by the time the next MOT is up, the car will be sold, but thanks for the heads up!

Hi their. I'm thinking about getting another cheap standard exhaust off a breaking fabia & thinking of doing a de-cat simply for more turbo whistle & maybe a tiny bit more power my question is, I've already had it mapped, from 100bhp (PD100) to 140bhp, will having the de-cat effect it at all? if it made no power difference, I really wouldn't be bothered, I'm just after the turbo whistle, but I dont want it to make less power because the gas's are escaping out faster than they were before, therefore messing the already adjusted fuelling/air from the re-map?? can anyone help? Cheers!

Dazdon - have you got any pictures of how bright they are? if you could get a shot from say 10 15ft away that'd be great!

Hi their. changed my number plate bulbs to white LED ones, which have 8 LED's in them these to be exact - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120465725581&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_4854wt_905 now they just weren't bright enough for me, and I think you could probably get a bigger bulb in their so was wondering if anyone had? also, ones blown so need to get some new ones anyway! & i'll be going with LED SMD ones this time. so anyone got any you'd recommend. basicly, just want them to be white and as bright as possible, and maybe some pictures to show how bright they are? Cheers!

so I got it up in the air the other day and it turns out it was the farb saddle bush at fault.... AGAIN! I spoke to VW and they say it's a 20mm bar with a 21mm bush... but powerflex dont sell any bigger than 19mm bush's again! another problem more headaches, arrrrrgh!

& thats no help to me at all lol.

Hi there, & first of all I'd just like to state this is not!!!!!!!! a for sale thread I've just no idea how much to price this number plate at, anyone any idea's how much I should put it up for? as it's a amazing reading plate, but It can only go on a 11 plate car so not quite as desirable as a plate that can go on any car?
