I still dont know why they discontinued tangerine. yeti suits bold colours and the range available could be so much better.

here in Germany you can order a "rough road" packet with raised suspension different dampers and underbody protection on the standard octy for €180. but not if you want 17-18 inch wheels

thought they were available from june-july?

blacksheep. yes I can confirm the sensors are in the black trim along the bottom rear of the car. im In Germany and the octy is now in the dealers. sat in a german spec elegance which had optional columbus fitted(€1700!). what I noticed was the doors seem very light to open and close. almost too light if that makes sense!! the sd slot and dvd/cd is located inside the glovebox. this still leaves quite a lot of space inside though. boot is massive as expected. it had a rear wiper fitted but they are an €80 option for all specs!! the dash is clear and well laid out but no topbox which as a yeti owner I find really handy. the sticker price for the car I sat in was €29 k !! this was a manual 1.8 petrol

my wife has a new shape i30 estate and I really dont think it can be classed as a budget car and it seems very solid and well put together

I cant understand why the alcantara interior is not available as a no cost option on the elegance. if it was I way have ordered one! im not a leather fan!!!

I am sure the ix 35 facelift is going to have the same or similar front to the santa fe

I thought you meant the non standard colours like you can get with audi etc! yes it is poo that they won't allow the full range of paint when you can in other countries. only consolation I can give you is that the equivalent model in Germany is usually a lot more expensive!

bossfox. ref the paintbox colours, I dont think I have seen any yetis in a colour other than what we can order in uk.

I live in Germany and noticed an ad from dealer that says octy is available to view from 16th Feb. have you got a time frame in uk yet ?

No doubt there will be a price increase too...

Hi all, any idea if the wheels are the same sizes as on the superb/yeti? (7j x17 et45) if they are it would save me buying new set of winter wheels!! its the et45 bit that im not sure is the same!! cheers

tp I've got a 20 mile drive to work and my car doesn't reach 90 deg in that time if it's cold. this is my second 110 diesel. the first one was the same in cold weather. I'm really not concerned as icy cold air blowing through is obviously going to stop the diesel lump heating as quickly! ! however I'm still getting warm air in cabin after two miles at minus temps

that is something that really annoys me (even though I haven't had to change any yet! ) I think all bulbs should be changeable without major surgery

Make sure the garage set it to the servicing schedule you want as apparently they all come on fixed now ! I noticed as I was filling up and drove it back for them to change it.

The shark blue looks to be nearly the same as aqua blue anyway.

Cody let me know how you get on with that as both the UK and German dealers reckoned you can't light both up ! Btw have you noticed that yetis are breeding here in bfg! Here they are in double figures now !!

Deffo need to get it wired to other side as there is one less cable on the loom. I know this for a fact as I have just had it done !! Don't think both can light up at same time, it's one or the other.

I bought a series 2 with the 1.6 engine new back in 96. They only built 400 choice of blue or white. I put 20k plus on mine before I sold it on for a zafira (kids....) I don't remember it having any problems

I have noticed more on the road here now. But don't you always notice someone else in same car as yourself. Unless you drive focus I suppose!

Zombie thread alert!! Picked up my new yeti in August, the garage didnt bother changing the rear fog light over this time ( Thanks Motorline skoda canterbury! ) I didnt find this out until I went to get my light check done ( If you are in the Army and based in Germany you need to have continental lights fitted. ) Anyway took it to my german skoda garage, and after lots of faffing about with laptops they came to conclusion that I needed the wiring changed over, which was done today. So no coding will change it, as is alluded to in previous posts. Picked it back up today and it is now on correct side for europe, will take it back to the lights check guys tomorrow!

Picked up my aqua blue on tuesday, now I have it i do prefer the colour to muscovado!

Does the yeti 170 not have the same power and brakes as vRS anyway? Sticking in the 170 4x4 would surely improve driving function also
