  1. I think its standard on the 2.0tsi, and the 3.6v6! I was very surprised when we got a full tank of fuel too! Sadly there wasn't one, however the dealers ordered one for me today, along with my missing central headrest which is currently on backorder Thanks buddy, a bit different going from a Fabia to a Octavia to Superb. and my sunglasses I stupidly left in the holder in my old vRS. There being delivered to me as soon as they get them in.
  2. The boot is a lot more square on the fl, I've always admired the rear of the pr fl it's not been pretty in some angles, but when your following one dead on it looks really I want to say delicate, but I think thats where Skoda did a bit of a mash up, compared to the front where it means business, the rear its really simple and soft. If you can do it, I think it'll work well with the pr fl front too
  3. I'll be sure to post up some more after a week of ownership! Now it's time to read my manual.... slightly satisfying
  4. I opened up the Maxidot menu, I've never seen so many options to flick through. I love the interior illumination I've always had to mod my old cars, but this has it all!
  5. Yeah - I think I might need to get some black matts at least!!! Oi cheeky! Ivory to you :P
  6. Few interior shots Only bug is the small ripple in the leather, not sure how to eliminate that... :(
  7. I can't see the 1.8/2.0tsi being slow at all they seem to have great performance. the LED sidelights, I don't actually know! But they look great, I think the previous owner put them in.
  8. Getting used to the power with this at the moment, don't think I'm ready to map it yet! But I can imagine their "wtf" face. It's a great car to drive at speed, very stable and super smooth, driving around town it sounds so good! Pulls around a bend, while accelerating with no fuss at all. I keep waiting to listen out for tyre squeal but it won't, not that I've been trying too hard! I do love yellow, and I will miss yellow! But Mocca, and Ivory looks great together! It's not as brown as you'd think to be fair, it sounded worse on paper. But in the flesh it really is like a dark grey.
  9. Pretty sure you can get 240 easy from a stage 1?
  10. Nah, no family intentions haha! I part ex'ed my vRS! V6 was tempting :P
  11. Ahh, It was a decision made in a very short time. vrs has gone to a new home, don't make me feel guilty selling it, it was one of the best cars I've ever had, but I have a new friend now, a v6!
  12. Lovely motor! Congratulations on being one of the first.
  13. Thats not bad, I think the superb is 1660 kg? So your S3 has some weight to it! The 2.0 is a great engine, I like the the new A Class AMG, I think thats pretty crazy for power too.
  14. Really?! I noticed it was a colour option for the vRS and I got excited for a nice metallic red option, it would have looked great! Shame on you SUK!
  15. I was really chuffed with the handling on mine too, coming from a vRS it's a little softer but still firm, and corners with so much grip, in mine and another 170 tdi I've driven. Very impressed so far. I think the LED lamps are on my wish list, I thought because they came on the L&K that it would of been an easy fix on the computer?
  16. Ooo! yeah that'll be fun, is your S3 standard at the moment, and manual? I've read a remap on these take it to about 280. I'm getting used to the 260 at the moment, after all it's like a vRS plus a Citigo in one engine now!
  17. Its hard to put time into everything and post on the forum, it's been funny to read and always happy to share a photo! Yeah, I can only imagine what the 295 bhp r32, and the panamera would be with the more powerful engine. I saw one at the national meet was that your mates?
  18. Yeah! It does look brown in some light, I was a little worried when I was driving up that it would be more brown than a warm gunmetal colour. I'll miss the yellow for sure, but I've always liked the dark colour with ivory interior combo. The interior is lovely, I'll get some later today after work.
  19. So here are the new pics!!! Seriously I have bought a Skoda..again! Well... I know you should always see if it will fit in the parking space before hand... it does.. Just. And here are a few photos from today. Haven't had a chance to take any photos of the interior yet but it is lovely. Managed to give it a quick jet wash off after the cow poo. Urrgh! So theres the proof! now I need to write about the car... well I will tomorrow but so far so good, the power comes in a really thick gooey consistency I can't explain it, compared to the rs that was like a fizzy fire cracker, this one just pulls and pulls and pulls, I thought my RS had poke, this is like a heavyweight boxer.
  20. Yes, we drove up yesterday from cornwall, and then drove all the way back the same day!! Knackered.com! *Big Grin* I love it, we took it for a spin today with Rapid Ronnie, and it was a great day to take it out in the open very rapid, not so frantic as the RS but certainly pulls like a train. Yeah, I don't think I'd of traveled all that way unless I knew it was something worth the drive for!
  21. Hello! We've literally just got back to cornwall...The rs did it on the way up with 75 quids worth of fuel on a 460mile trip, so on the way back, it probably cost around 15-20 quid more... haha, we did stop at Bristol on half a tank, filled it up so that we could get to cornwall as we all know nothings open in the sticks incase we needed to fill up, and had half a tank left by the time we got to Newquay doing 70ish mph. but the car is loveeeeerrrly! I am off to bed again it's been a long day! Post will follow tomorrow with pics!
  22. That sounds nice, I best get saving.
  23. Best get some rest, up at 6am tomorrow for a 7 hour drive! I'll follow up the thread on Sunday sometime
  24. Eeek! 6k! There was more than one of you going right!? I think my last holiday was a road trip to holland in my old 1.4 16v fabia, cost us about £100 including ferry! We went to HK a couple of years back, to see family and lucky for us we had a uncle who was a manager at a hotel so we got 3 weeks accommodation sorted at a very reasonable price for me and my parents! I think the flights alone were £2500 though for 3 of us!
