hi ive got a stage 1 remap on my mk1 octy vrs,shes running 210bhp....i was thinking of getting some new spark plugs anyone know which are the best? cheers

ho w the hell do u unscrew the aerial on a mk1 octy vrs? it gets so far but i cant remove it??

Its not gearbox its front offside wheelbearing,as it whines louder when i put load on it ie,turning left

Hi ive got an OCTAVIA VRS on an 05 plate,she has covered 122000 miles with full service history.About 2 months ago i had a droning noise when driving which turned out to be nearside front bearing.I had it replaced and all was ok for a couple of weeks until this droning came back again.I now think that maybe drivers side one has gone as when you put load on the right hand side the droning gets louder,but also recently i dont know if it was me but i couldnt get 5th gear and tried 3 times before it whet in and has been fine ever since.Gears are nice and smooth no crunching apart from this droning.If gearbox was on its way out would it wine or drone? im hoping this is just a bearing and not the box.

Hi ive just had my Octy VRS mk1 remapped with a stage 1.She has gone from 179bhp to 210 bhp...i was thinking of fitting a decat pipe to her now but would i see much benefits? Hi does anyone know how to fit a boost gauge in a MK1 OCTAVIA VRS? Ive searched but not found anything for the octavia.Im not really bothered about the inside of the car its the fitting of the boost pipe under the bonnet that i need to know...many thanks.

hi my oil feed pipe is leaking on my octy vrs,ive got the new washers to put on tomorrow but im wondering if the bolt that goes through the centre of the pipe is an allen key or torx head type? does anyone know? many thanks

ive phoned MOT station and he says its the turbo oil feed pipe which comes from the block,is this easy to change? where can i get one? part number? many thanks.

Hi my wife took my octavia vrs mk1 for an mot today,it passed no problem.But the mot examiner drew her attention to an oil leak which is coming from a pipe up by the turbo with 2 copper things on it(if that makes sense)i havnt seen it so im hoping someone can shed some light and tell me if its serious as i dont want to get under it in this weather many thanks in advance.

so which size? ive just been given two different ones?

Hi im going to purchase a panel filter for my octavia vrs mk1,there are so many on the market which one do i choose? im going to have it remapped to a stage 1 so which is best? i dont want a cold air feed just replacement filter many thanks.Oh and ive got a split r dumpvalve and a powerflow back box already fitted.
