I had the reverse cam with trajectory line installed. Beside those Vagcom things that have been mentioned, u can try our luck and ask dealer to enable xds under your abs module. as to what it do, u can google "vw xds" and have a read

Press setup and hold. It will go into ver info. If it only show fm and am, then yours is at most ver 2xxx. U also need to know your Columbus hardware ver. If u have a ! On the top right corner, it's ver A/B, upgrade to 3810A. If it's a mic logo, then 3970 is better. Be warn that your hdd will most likely be wipe clean, so standby a copy of map to reload.

Firmware is corrupted. Check what is your current firmware and upgrade accordingly. With what you described, Vagcom, reset, etc is not going to help.

Just curious, how do u Vagcom the seat belt indicator to be on but remove the chime? When I disable it via instrument, both indicator and chime are removed. Appreciate your guidance. Cheers

They are not plug and play. need to add resistor in between . I ordered a special resistor from US that come with proper heat sink and aluminum backing. I have also tried vagcom but it doesn't work. one fog and one reverse light will be off and i have to go back to dealer to correct them coz it's binary change and it cannot be reverse by vagcom. It's about the same price i'm asking for in Singapore vs superskoda but mine is error free.

Change a phone..... iPhone will make the problem go away. I put it down to phone and user issue. And not on the module and car :p

uncheck bluetooth autoplay on the headunit and unpair the media player on mfd. or recode via vagcom to remove the music streaming function and select handsfree mode as the default mode in phone setting. as for the icon, not sure if software update by dealer would help

need to add 2 wires from the BT module (pin 4 & 5) to the back of HU (pin 5 & 11) so that it doesn't remain mono.

Let me guess. the module shd be 3C8 035 730A. You will need to recode this module for AD2P streaming. under phone setting, are u on handsfree or premium mode? and what is the month/year of make? the older MFD doesn't support the ipod and battery icon so it will appear like a square box.

Is there non original led tail light for superb to start with in the first place? I have the original fitted but had resistor at the back. Coding doesn't work. When I did vagcom, the front Drl went missing and the reverse light and fog light work on one side instead of two.

The inner piece is different from the current one coz it's in mirror finish, so if one need to change, they will need to change all 4 piece. I tot the UK L&K version came with this as well?

Have u remove the purple catch before you pin it, then pull? no force should be used on this swop. not all workshop know how to do this but for a workshop to blame it on a bulb? i question their competency.

actually there's no need to cut wire. u need to do a pin out of the 2 wiring pin and swop its position.

I have tried a few set of cree. they look very bright and good, doesn't give error. however, after 5 mins of operation, they go into protection mode where some will blink or shut off itself. Can check with those on alltronix_ltd, is it ok? thanks

I had this before but it shut down after 5 mins of running them as drl. Guess it's more suitable for reverse light. Anyone on Cree led observe this on their car?

you can pin out the 2 wires on the DRL connector and swop it around if there's polarity issue.

From the MFD under phone, you can chose to connect via normal hand free instead of premium mode (which is for RSAP). I presume you are on the upgraded module (3C8 035 730 A and above) that allow bluetooth streaming. Hope that help

HI, Had upgraded my rSAP bluetooth module from 5N0 035 730B to 3C8035730B so that I can get HFP and AD2P. The change was a success but i realised the following:- My existing columbus had voice command where i can switch from radio to map to navigation, etc which can be activated by the top right button on the HU and also via the left steering wheel scroller. After the Phone module upgrade, the wheel scroller on steering only do voice command on the phone function but not the rest. Voice command via the top right button on columbus still work. Was wondering if anyone encounter this and had the solution. thanks
