Never owned a Citroen myself but a mate had one, a lot of my friends are anglers like myself so we always go for estates to get all our gear in, mate Gary had a C5 and I was very impressed with the suspension which Citroen are famed for obviously and how quiet the engine was for diesel but most of all the build quality which was very good. Good luck.

Sat Nav Update Misery
Greenie58 replied to Mike_Wazawski's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
I’ll stick with my Garmin, it’s far better visually and gives me speed camera warnings. To update I go to the Garmin website plug in and select update, that’s it. Love the rest of the car though. -

Greenie58 replied to greywolf1987's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Mate has a garage, I pop in for a brew now and then and he does all my servicing. While chatting I often ask why a particular car is in , Iv lost count of the times he has said.."they didn't keep to the service schedule " -
ESC Intervention activated.

Close call glad you had a happy ending. -
They said no filter for my car I gave them the reg to be sure, I just wanted to see what they quoted, my mate has a VW/Audi, Skoda etc garage and usually looks after my cars, my mk2 Scout cost £120 for the Haldex service so I was pleasantly surprised.
-
Been quoted £69 for the Haldex oil change from my local Skoda dealer and they said it’s due at 40,000 miles.

About 6 weeks into my car with stop/start and totally used to it now, Iv noticed that the engine starts just by releasing the foot brake and just moving forward out of gear , the engine cuts out only when Im completely stopped.
-
I’m not worried at all I’m just interested how it works, it’s the first stop start car I have owned.
