Can anyone give me a link to a guide for carrying out this repair, please?

My 2013 Elegance had a drawer under the passenger seat but ( as above ) my 2017 SE L Drive has the umbrella instead. Please let us know what the outcome is, for such a small cost the repairer ought to just supply and fit the drawer to satisfy his customer.

October update:- brimming tank method 535 miles @ 43.46 mpg. More satisfied.

Update:- fuel consumption on "new" 2017 Yeti 1.2Tsi has been 42.27 mpg over nearly 400 miles , 200 miles of which were 70mph motorway. Brimming tank method, not MaxiDot which was a similar read-out. Satisfied.

I'm glad it's not only me that notices oil temperature. My 2013 Yeti 1.2 Tsi ran at around 90 degrees once warmed up BUT my new 2017 Yeti 1.2 CYVB runs at 100 degrees.

On my Yeti with the CYVB petrol 1.2 engine, this sensor on the air inlet trunking ( is it the MAF sensor? ) appears to have its plastic cover missing. Anyone with a CYVB engine on Yeti or other model able to comment, please?

Expatman, I couldn't find any used Yetis with the electric driver's seat or anyone who knew if I could swap it from the old car . We find it so useful when doing a driver swap in a lay-by when on a long journey.

Some will have read my "quandary" post about how to replace my much loved and appreciated 2013 petrol 1.2 Elegance. Because none of the current plug-in hybrids meet all our requirements we opted to look for one of the last Yetis with DSG automatic, this time. There were a few around earlier this month so we got to choose the colour we wanted. The SE L Drive is a similar specification to the Elegance with such things as leather etc.
The improvements in specification over the Elegance include DAB radio, Sat-nav, front parking sensors, device connectivity etc.
It also has a "drivers door open" alarm beep.
One thing I can't seem to activate through the MaxiDot is the "chirp" from the alarm when locking or unlocking - any ideas?
The 2013 has the chain-driven CBZ engine and the 2017 has the CYVB engine - are the camshafts belt driven on this one ?
I was getting around 40 - 41 mpg overall on the 2013 (with a K & N air filter the only non-standard part ) which I worked out by brimming the petrol tank and regularly calculating to compare with the MaxiDot which was quite similar. The new one is showing around 44 mpg on the MaxiDot but I haven't done enough mileage to check on the "brimming " method but Škoda claim a 3 mpg improvement over the CBZ engine. And the V.E.D. ( Road Tax ) is marginally cheaper.
The old one had Michelin CrossClimate tyres which I am delighted with as posted elsewhere and the new one has Nexen N Fera RU1 suv tyres, I didn't know Škoda fitted Nexen as original equipment. The Nexens seem a bit noisier than the CrossClimates which I will fit as the Nexens wear out.
One thing the 2017 hasn't got is the electric, memory driver's seat which the old one has and I haven't found anyone who knows if the new one can have one fitted.
Oh! and before someone comes on and tells me that the build quality was better on pre-facelift Yeti, I needed to replace the old one as it had 111,000 miles on it and we also wanted an automatic. So far nothing seems cheaper on it. Telling me that the build quality was better on the pre-facelift would be like the removal man who said that our new house wasn't any bigger than our old one.
I've put the old one on Briskoda Classifieds as one ought not to have two Yetis. Ought one?

I have CrossClimates on my 2013 Yeti which have covered over 50,000 miles and still have 4 - 5mm left. Oh! and they are quiet and grip well in low temperatures and snow.

As none of the others stood out and had all of the features we wanted on a plug-in hybrid we went "safe" and bought the latest Yeti SE L Drive DSG we could find. I'll do a separate post with my findings.

Expatman - we went for a 1.2 SE L drive in Petrol blue as we wanted leather ( like our Élegance ) and the sat-nav appealed rather than the "trailing wires" Tom Tom. By the way, anyone else had problems with Tom Tom and unable to get any help from them?
Will offer the Élegance for sale on here in the "for sale" section as it still looks a treat, 10,000 mile services from new AND electric memory driver's seat.

As my post has morphed into a Tuk Tuk discussion ( how? why? ) I'll bring it back to my dilemma of what to replace my 2013 Elegance with. Answer:- a low mileage 2017 Yeti auto. Delivery in a couple of weeks.....patience.
I just couldn't find a new plug-in hybrid that ticked all my boxes so will have two or three years for manufacturers to produce what I want.
Thanks for all your replies, even the Tuk Tuk ones - don't you JUST love Briskoda?

Wow, thanks Yeti folk. What a variety of ideas and suggestions, never imagined a Tuk Tuk would feature in replies on this subject. Almost decided on very late used Yeti to tide us over until a plug-in hybrid with raised driving position is on the market. Will keep you posted.

Wow! I spent 38 years in Daily Rental and have seen many damaged clutches but NEVER a shattered cover plate. One company overloaded their van with printed paper and the clutch came out looking like black shredded wheat.

Still considering what to buy........
Having had the optional electric memory drivers seat on my 2013 Elegance I really would like the benefit on my next car.
The Kia Niro and Hyundai Kona have electric seats but NOT with a memory so I was wondering if anyone has had experience of swapping the electric memory components from one Yeti to another which wasn't built with them? Can the electronics in the car ECU be adjusted to cope?
Is this a job for a car trim company rather than an independent VAG specialist?
I have seen the SE-L model which has everything else I need but not one with the memory seats - even the L&K doesn't have them. I'm glad I ticked the option box when I bought this one but at 111,000 miles I want a change.

After 110,000 miles and 7 years it's time to consider what car will best replace it.
We love the raised driving position, comfort, reliability etc but would like a plug-in hybrid for electric running on local journeys.
Hyundai Kona and Kia Niro seem the best rated plug-ins with Toyota RAV4 as an alternative. VAG seem to be a bit late to the hybrid party and I'm not convinced they have it sorted, yet.
With upto 30 miles on battery the Koreans seem to fit my bill - please discuss......

Looking for a 2017 Yeti petrol ( prefer auto ) and would like to know what extra spec a "Drive" gets over an SE L .
Also, my existing pre-facelift Yeti has the electric memory drivers seat and I wondered if anyone has experience of swapping over the electrical gubbins from my old car to potential newer one? I wouldn't want the seat facings and padding of the old one as it's over 100,000 miles old. Would a VAG independent carry this out?
