  1. The 1 means 1x inspection and oil change and 1 x inspection with extended scope
  2. I purchased an approved used Skoda last April and took the PCP finance which included 2 services for £79 which I paid for. I took my vehicle to my local dealer yesterday and they charged me over £115 for spark plugs which they insist are not included in the service plan. I looked at my policy and cannot see anywhere that the spark plugs are excluded. My dealer has not given any written evidence to explain their decision. They have told me Skoda do not need to show what's not covered which I find hard to believe. Skoda CS and VW financial who run the service plan are a waste of time and do not really understand the policy they are selling. Anyone thinking of taking this deal as its still available be aware you may not be covered like you think you are. In my opinion 2 services is exactly that. The website also quotes taking this plan gives you the confidence to budget for the next two services which I now completely disagree with.
  3. Thanks for the reply the plugs were just over £115 and was I told they were needed as the car is now 4 years old as shown in the table above. My argument is that if you pay for 2 services for £79 then this should be all you pay over the 2 years it's misleading in my opinion the website quotes you can be confident that you can budget for the next two services which is not correct as I have paid more. Skoda CS and VW financial who sell the service plan don't have a clue about the product they are selling. It's a shame that I have been using the dealer for over 25 years who have recently been taken over by Lookers so much for customer loyalty. I'm just trying to warn anyone thinking of taking out this plan what to expect. I have also looked at my service plan contract and nowhere does it say in the exclusions about spark plugs.

  5. The car has done 13000 miles the paperwork says 1 inspection and 1 with extra scope it’s 4 years old this months so should have the plugs. My point is no where in the paperwork does it say the plugs are not included and they cannot provide any evidence to prove they are not included. If you pay for two services that is exactly what I expect to get. The supplying dealer admitted they wouldn’t have charged for them which is even more confusing. Just a side note I have used the dealer I used today every year since 1988 and spent thousands with them so much for customer loyalty.
  6. Yes same car. I have checked all the paperwork and no where does it say plugs are excluded. Should they not provide evidence of this and not just rely on what they are saying.
  7. I purchased an approved used Skoda 4 months ago and paid for the two services for £79. Today I take the car in for a service and they have charged me over £100 for the spark plugs. I argued this cannot be right but they will not budge I cannot find anything on the paperwork to say the plugs are not included.
  8. I have the above unit in my 67 plate Spaceback and I am completely confused by the different connectivity options for this unit. I cannot tell the difference between mirror link/smart link/smart link+Skoda connect and my Skoda app. Do they all do the same thing. I have smart link and Skoda connect on the head unit but neither will work.
  9. Can anyone help I have been tying for days to delete my home address and previous destinations from my Amundsen sat nav I just cannot seem to find anyway of doing it apart from doing a complete reset. It’s very frustrating. There must be some way of doing this simple task.
  10. Yes if you go up a profile on the tyre it will have the same rolling circumference. So if you have 16 inch wheels and a 15 inch spare then if the tyres on the car are 215/30/16 then the spare can be 215/40/15.
  11. I have some breaks in my rear window demister lines on the rear screen. Does anyone know who repairs these. I have seen kits for sale which is a paint on conductive paint. There must be a company that repairs these but I cannot find anything online.
  12. I have noticed some of the defogger lines in my rear screen have broken. Is there any way of repairing them. I believe there is a kit where they can be painted on. I have looked for a company that can repair these but cannot find any.
  13. Thanks so much as didn't want the 1.2 I would have returned the car as advertised as 1.0
  14. I have bought a Spaceback SE sport which says it's a 1.0 TSI on most of the paperwork but on the used vehicle order it says it's a 1.2 Tsi the engine code is CHZC. Can anyone confirm what engine it is.
  15. None of those are the colour of the seats in the picture I posted earlier
  16. I have been looking at buying a Monte Carlo and every one apart from one has the red seats and interior bits but I have seen one with just grey sports seats. Was this an option when it was new or have the seats been replaced with something different it’s a 68 plate thanks.
  17. I am looking at buying a Rapid Spaceback but everyone I look at seems to have some boot trim missing. Is this normal or is the trim available to buy as an extra the holes are there but every car I have looked at has the trim missing both sides thanks.
  18. I have an Octavia vRS are I want a smaller performance car why will Skoda not make a new Fabia vRS this photo looks great would anyone else buy one.
