Love the original roof rails, though the front on view looks like it has heavy eyelids and it's just about to drop off to sleep.

Fitted the FOBO TPMS to the Triumph.
For what it is it's very expensive, but the reviews are probably the best for these type of devices (though that might be from people justifying spending so much...)
Took a bit of fiddling but all working now.
I've got the BMW system on the R1200R and that's useful for reminding me that I need to pump the tyres up, and as the (tubed) tyres on the Triumph have a tendency the deflate a little more regularly, this should be a handy safety feature on that one too.

Rode it and stopped to look at a horse
<pic deleted as it doesn't appear to be working>
And generally just admire the view

I saw a near identical Triumph broken down at the side of the road this afternoon when at work and it made me think perhaps you were over, but I doubt it at moment.
No, not me. This afternoon the missus got me to use the Superb to transport a dresser that she'd bought sight-unseen from a woman on Facebook.
I would have preferred to have been broken down though as basically she's paid someone for something they should have taken to the tip!
Over the last couple of weeks there's been a fair amount of excitement about the Triumph Scrambler 1200 Bond edition with somewhat vulgar 007 branding and Bond embroidery. My Scrambler 900 Kingsman edition is far more subtle.

Looks very much at home on that picture!
Smart looking Bike.Cheers. About 100bhp down on my Busa, but more comfortable and I'm enjoying it just as much, just in a different way.
It does need a clean though.

Took the Triumph on-roading on a byway near Marlborough.
I was expecting a lightly gravelled path, but instead found a heavily rutted, potholed dusty track with deep gravel, flint and similar, with lumps large enough to send the front wheel darting wildly off course. And sufficient gradients and slopes to be properly frightening.
Still, all the walkers and cyclists I encountered were very friendly and offered genuine words of encouragement, I didn't drop it and I can now feel justified in replacing the flimsy original plastic sump guard with a more substantial ally one as I managed to give it a good thump at one point.
I didn't get photos at the really hairy bits as I was concentrating too much on not falling off.

Its very nice to ride, Power is available absolutely everywhere in the Rev-Range and never stops delivering. When overtaking I don't even have to think about Gear Selection.
After the initial "wow this is mental" phase was over, the huge flexibility and mid-range was the thing that really impressed. It was possible to make progress in a very relaxed manner.
There was no need to worry about slowing for traffic as it got back up to speed so effortlessly.

I had that brand of shades in two of my Octavias and in the lad's Citigo with no problem

Looking forward to seeing how this works out

Only image I have of the Bike which I took last night when I viewed it, Its an AL7 Model 2017 Bike so pretty much One of the last Built and in the All Black Stealth Colours and because its a late Model has the Brembo Monoblock Calipers and ABS.
It also has a few Subtle Aftermarket upgrades with a very expensive 4-2-1 Arata Titanium System with Carbon Can which shaves 15KG off the overall weight of the Bike. It has been Custom Remapped to suit by John Warrington in Malton and De-Restricted with 187BHP at the Rear Wheel so over 200BHP at the Crank...Supposed to be a bit of a Missile so I have been told.
That's lovely - I had an 03 Mk1 and a half (restricted to 186 rather than the original that only did 186 but the speedo went further) in black with black frame.
A surprisingly easy bike to ride and nowhere near as intimidating as you'd expect. The real let down were the 6-piston Tokico brakes which were of course replaced with the far-superior Brembo M4s on the ABS bikes
Always fancied one of the really last ones that came with a Yoshimura exhaust system but alas my body is no longer Hayabusa shaped.

Considering that i removed the 4x4 badge on the boot and on the gear stick, it's not always a tell...
I seem to recall that my tow bar installation including full Skoda loom at a main dealer was about £600 on my 170 (badge-less) 4x4

The simple answer to 1, 2 or 4 is depends on other tyres.
If others are virtually new, then 1 obviously
If others are near end of life then all 4
The grey area between depends on tread depth, and age (if low mileage, but over 4 years check for cracking). Possibly be determined by inability to source a replacement of same type.
The General rule is to keep tread depth no more than 2.5mm or 3mm different (lots of different opinions). Some say it limits transmission wear, others it affects handling when driving through puddles (and don’t want car pulling to one side). I suggest you think what is safe on a dark and stormy night.
My own slightly different experience with this was when a tyre fitter accidentally fitted the tyres of the wrong profile to my Yeti,
I had a set of 4 Michelin CrossClimate and ended up with 225/50 to the front and 225/45 on the rear.
Only noticed a few days later when the traction control was getting excessively busy, especially on roundabouts, because of course the car thought the wheels were turning at different speeds

C1 COV yesterday. I suspect they aren't as pleased with it now as when they bought it

Anyone else used either of these? Very impressed so far with the £19.99 each delivered Neos ones off amazon, soon I can talk to the dog while at work
I've got a couple of installations of Logitech cameras from about 10-12 years ago that were eye-wateringly expensive and seem to be struggling to keep going now. They are a combination of both powerline and PoE and work with apps that Logitech stopped updating years ago.
Rather than spend too long coaxing them back into life on a regular basis, i bought a Neos one and so far have been very impressed especially at the price. There are 2 downsides as far as I can see; 1. not waterproof, and 2. the subscription service limits to 3 cameras per subscription.
The waterproofing issue isn't too much of a problem as external housings are available from after-market suppliers, but the pricing structure for the subscription service is annoying. Where I'm sat at the moment has 7 logitech cameras - 5 external and 2 internal and I'd like to replace them with a modern alternative, but having to spread the cameras across 3 accounts with individual subscriptions seems daft.

This might work. My MOT is due 1st May, I booked it a few weeks back when reminder dropped on door mat and the next day all MOT's were suspended with immediate effect until 22nd June. As it's booked it should be cancelled and a 3 month exemption certificate issued and 3 months added shows up on the gov site etc. For some reason this hasn't happened for mine and the entire department is closed to public calls now and even email. So it's on its last month on the road either way now since it's slipped the net. Booked in for 9th April gurrrrrrr They will make me pay test fee again after this.
That's not good 😞
I am wondering what I should or shouldn't SORN

I ordered them from Amazon in the US as that specific bulb had been recommended, so I knew that it would fit my headlamp shell and I knew that I could return them if the light scatter was unacceptable
Looking at ebay, item 392658202141 in the UK appears to be the same, and about 1/2 the price I paid

Thinking of doing the same to my Tiger 800. Which LED bulbs did you buy and where from. Reckon its an easy fit for my Triumph
Following a recommendation on a Triumph forum I ordered these from the US Amazon site, and after shipping and taxes worked out at £50 landed
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TQLK6SH/
There's 2 in a pack so there's one in my Triumph Street Scrambler and one in my BMW R80RT.

Just fitted an LED headlight bulb to the Triumph.
I've always been sceptical about aftermarket bulbs after trying an HID that had absolutely no focus to the light at all and dazzled everyone within a 5 mile radius, but the LED ones I've bought give a similar light pattern to the H4 that I took out.

I never realised that was how the TPMS on the Citigo worked.
I wonder if the system is looking for a difference in rotational speed between the wheels, or against a calculated value.
i.e. if it lights because at some point 3 tyres are giving one reading and the remaining 1 is different, or it lights because at the speed you are travelling it knows what the reading should be (having set a baseline just after the reset button was pressed) and notes that one or more is different.

I expect i got less for my diesel Yeti on trade in for my petrol Superb than I would have done if it was a petrol Yeti.
How much less? No idea.
