It might be DGTE engine code? Check your V5 (unless those scrabble letters came from there?) If not PM a VIN and I can look if possible what you have.

Working on the airbag control unit - J234: During work on the airbag control unit - J234, the battery's earth strap must be disconnected while the ignition is switched on. When this is done, nobody must be inside the vehicle. Exception: vehicles with the battery in the passenger compartment. Stay out of the effective range of the airbags and seat belts. What @fr1nklyn said, if you have an EPB, the motor has to spin say a 40:1 ratio (sorry a guess, no actual idea) and if you try to reverse this process, it can strip the threads on the worm screw or something like that.

Still not seen anything, and odds are low of an update I'm afraid to say.

If it ever works long enough, you need to hold down the Menu or Setup button for 10 seconds to enter the engineering menu, and then provide a picture of the "Software Train" if possible. Should it be that unstable, you might be able to remove radio and look at the top label, and take a picture. Speaking of pictures, do you have one of the whole unit from the front?
