  1. I can send you 0490.
  2. @xyboox You shall have update by PM
  3. @sirhc93 You have PM for 0480 version.
  4. erWin Skoda, create account, pay 7 Euro for an hour (About £7.50 roughly) and you have ability to download all you wiring diagrams and repair manuals. You can print any pages needed if you prefer to have hardcopy for a repair.
  5. Your picture above looks like this one... 1.6ltr TDI https://www.lllparts.co.uk/catalogs/skoda/CZ/SUP/851/1/121/121032 Perhaps you need this one? 2.0ltr TDI - Part 15 is listed as an additional coolant pump https://www.lllparts.co.uk/catalogs/skoda/CZ/SUP/851/1/121/121034 There is a thread where they did have trouble with the additional coolant pump, maybe they might remember and can assist.
  6. If it was enabled by dealer, it should be retained post update. The latest version is 0253, I will PM you a link.
  7. You should be ok in theory with 8GB stick or bigger
  8. I can send it over, just remember you load at own risk. Theory is that it should all work out OK, but could also end badly.
  9. You can read the Fourth update, and you would be able to update to 0306.
  10. Post information when you can then, at least you will know if an update is there or not.
  11. You can, press and hold down the Menu/Setup button for 10 seconds to enter the engineering menu. Look for a page with Software Train, I can either send file to you, or at least confirm there IS an update (dealers will often just brush you off with these)
  12. You are trying to find out what hardware (control units) your car has installed. Then you can use either software to code out (remove) the control units that don't answer (as they don't exist) That's the theory!
  13. @Dyl4n That's close enough, so you will have MEN2xxxxx firmware. I will send you a PM in a moment.
  14. If it's not broken, this would be like throwing money on the floor, and you would still need to code in a new one. So you are best to update your software (if a clone, this could present problems) and do a fresh scan. You also have other SW tool, so you could scan with that, and see what you have.
  15. Does your Software Train begin with "MEN2_EU_SKGPx?" If yes, then the file I have is most likely going to cure the crackling sounds. Simple to load, so if you can verify, I can send you some simple destructions and you will be golden.
  16. I can send update MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4526 MU 1440 @metalista I am very sorry, I missed your post for 3 weeks, did you still need update?
  17. Can you be more specific? If it is red, this can commonly occur when the car's battery has become low. *not saying this is the cause, but it could well be. Also, have you been able to connect a diagnostic device to read faults from your car?
  18. If you are talking about your infotainment system, then it's via USB or SD Card (depends on the system) You would need to hold down the Menu or Setup button for 10 seconds to enter the engineering menu, and locate Software Train, then post image if this is the update you want.
  19. Yes there will be a stored error that won't affect operation of the unit. It can be cleared with VCDS and generating a checksum. Yes
  20. You should hold down the Menu/Setup button for about 10 seconds to locate your Software Train value, post back value. You could update at home, dealers usually don't bother unless you make "correct" complaint of some bugs, they match this and then find update and apply.
  21. 0480 is latest, and 99.9% of people have no trouble with update.
  22. I have sent you the latest version 8755, that you could apply to both units. This might be something coded at factory (unlocked) that you might be able to do on the radio that is missing this. @pab567 is the hardware expert, and would know if this is correct. Best of luck!
  23. I dare say @pab567 would be able to confirm with a VIN number if this unit does not have it, and he would know if there is an upgrade path for you. He is the hardware expert, I assist in sending along firmwares to people that helps 95% of people 🤝
  24. Yes you can update to 0480 version, I will PM you a link
  25. I will send you link in an hour or two.
