£810 fitted and balanced with tyres including VAT. Was gonna get the black ones or the 18" alloys from the Superb but those would have made the car look odd i think. Still needs lowering though - looks miles too high compared to a Mini Clubman that lives down the road and has got the same size wheels on it!

We had a funny with our Superb last night - my other half pressed and held the lock to get the mirrors to fold in, which they didnt and then it lowered the drivers window! Got it to work properly in the end but a bit odd that it did that anyway!

They are actually the white vRS wheels - not listed as an option for the "normal" Fabia`s but the lady at the dealership ordered them in for me anyway. Considering getting a vRS rear bumper so I can get a similar style of exhaust back box as the Superb has got (which is wounded now thanks to a dumb Mini driver).

Just sorting out some pics of the new car, hoping they will work! The Superb is our other car and already finding the white wheels are getting flithy and Ive only done sixty miles!!!

ok now I am really really confused my car looks like it has a small intercooler type rad fitted in front of or immediately above another large radiator at the front of the car but I cant see any other coolers anywhere in the back of the enigne bay and Ive spent half an hour poking around my engine bay. Just wondering as well, my car has a pair of smallish (about 15-20 mm) metal pipes running through a hole in the frame next to the suspesnion strut tower on the drives side, but the hole they are going through has been padded out with black foam wrapped in clear plastic - is it supposed to be there??????

MIne came with the parking sensors from the factory and I am finding them waaaay too sensitive - ended up backing into my drive and stopping with about four feet between the back of the car and the wall because the sensors told me i was about to smack into it!

Well after having spent the day yesterday with my car I totally love it. Can defiantely tell when the turbo comes on boost in the first three gears - it suddenly flings you off down the road! Looking at the front end though it does look like it has an intercooler unless a charge cooler looks identical. Soo much fun to drive and actually very very punchy for such a small engine!

So theoretically, the 1.4 motors charge cooler would fit???

Hum, wondered why it looked like it was missing an i/c from the front end! Does anyone do an intercooler upgrade for it yet or will the 1.4 TSi intercooler fit?

My Fab came with the Comet alloys as standard and I thought they looked pants! Getting the dealer to put white vRS alloys (cant remeber how to spell the name!!!) on instead.

Sounds like I`m going to enjoy my Tsi 105 a lot then, although its the 5 speed manual version. I test drove a vRS and I actually didnt like it!!! Nearly crashed it four times by hitting the brakes thnking it had a clutch then kept bumping the paddles whenever I turned the wheel. Already emailed the UK ABT stealers to see how much the ABT re-map would be (i have assumed the can apply the Polo TSi upgrade to my Fab`s engine as its pretty much the same!)

Thanks, looking forward to picking it up! Been issued the reg number today and got my 7 days cover sorted to go and pick it up on Saturday so will be posting pics up once I get it home. Not sure what the running in period is but assuming I have to drive it like a saint for the first 3K!

Thinking about getting my little Fab mapped once it`s been run in - or is it better to do it sooner??? Don`t really know too much about mapping!

If I can find where it is I will try and Bring the new wagon along - might even try and persuade the other half to bring the Superb along too!

Hello, Just though I`d say Hi and introduce myself. I`m Ross from Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire. Picking up my new Fabia Estate from the dealership in Harlow on Saturday, very very excited!!!!! Its a 1.2 TSi Elegance in Purple (Sorry Skoda, but you must be colour blind as its very clearly NOT red!!!!) with the Manual gearbox. Asked to have the vRS alloys fitted to it as well so hoping they will be on it when I pick it up! Anyway, looking forward to being a twin Skoda Household (We also have a Superb Elegance 2.0TDi 170 DSG in black)! Ross
