its a "tailpipe trim" option from Skoda, take a look at page 14 of the online accessories brochure

I had -30 Eibachs on my old Combi, it lowers it enough for people to look at it and try and figure out what is different to a stock Fabia but it made the ride as rough as hell, almost as bad as the Coilies on my current Polo so I would suggest getting uprated shocks as well. Will try and find a pic as it had Monte front and rear splitters on it. I had a Universal filter on mine and it did the job fine.

Rapid Coupe and RS on the cards?
Ross Chapman replied to RapidRonnie's topic in Skoda Rapid & Spaceback (2012 > )
i like Me likey, I think I will be waiting this to come out and suffer with the Polo up to then. If the rumours about the Mk 7 Golf are true though, I am expecting it to be either an as-yet not in production engine or a 2.0 TSI / TDI. -
I had a custom one on mine from Powerflow. I asked for it to be fairly quiet and I have to say it had a nice rumble on power but was otherwise nice and discreet.

Fabia 3 Door Sound Deadning anyone done it?
Ross Chapman replied to john123's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
had mine done on my old one and there were no issues at all -
2012 Seat Toledo and Rapid Lookalike
Ross Chapman replied to Stormchaser's topic in Skoda Rapid & Spaceback (2012 > )
and it will be out first as well. Would not be surprised if there is also eventually a VW and Audi version (Polo and A1 saloons possibly?) -
Hello, I saw my name! In answer to the qs - yes it will fit the Roomster (provided its a FL version), from Skoda its about £200 and comes unpainted. Mine wasn't technically a MC splitter, it was fitted before the MC came out and was part of the non-UK sport styling package. Alternatively, Superskoda supply a pre-painted black version for about the same price.

Mine ran some rollers at 118bhp stock at just over 3,000 miles. I never babied mine, it tended to be driven hard. The Racechip box I had on my old 1.2, I got the "lower" spec box. Went like a stabbed rat afterwards but then I think they have all got around 120bhp or so from the factory. Mine was probably a bit more than that, I had put the air filter on it plus a performance exhuast. Would think it ended up more around 150bhp or so before I had to send it back. It was certainly quick enough to outrun Fiesta STs but not quite quick enough to outrun Corsa VXRs. Still have all the bits waiting to go onto a new one. WHEN i get a replacement (and I will!) And I am sure there are a couple more people with "tuned" 1.2s although AFAIK mine was probably one of the heaviest that I know of.

Snowy rolling on new wheels...........I like it
Ross Chapman replied to Brimma's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
slow? ha ha, try a drag race against my 1.6 Polo, it will show you what slow really is! -
Doubt there will be a vRS Citygo, as has been said the Lupo only sold under 1,000 and even if there was I would think it would have the more compact 1.2 TSi 105 rather than the bulkier 1.4 TSi.

Putting Eibach springs on a combi
Ross Chapman replied to Brimma's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Oh god noooooo! I had the Eibach -30s on my Combi and whilst it looked nice it rode like a pig! Think crash bash thump over even the slightest lump or hole in the road. I think my Polo on its super-hard coilovers is actually more comfortable than the Fab was! -
Indian Rapid / Vento are basically just saloon versions of the Fabia / Polo so technically they are a smaller car anyway. The Rapid is going to be a bit more in the style of the 6K Polo / Ibiza ie a "parts Bin special" so they are going to use modified versions of several different platforms to make it up. Will end up being a bit bigger and more spacious than the Indian versions. Probably better quality built too.

That rear is effing hideous!

Rapid - first official photos!
Ross Chapman replied to RapidRonnie's topic in Skoda Rapid & Spaceback (2012 > )
I heard the Rapid was due to start at about £13K. Can't see why they are using the HTP though - surely the 1.0 from the Citygo / Mii / UP! have rendered it obsolete (as powerful and more efficient). I would think the 5th engine is going to be the 160 1.4 TSi, then save the more potent engine for the vRS version. I do hope that the bigger engines dont just come with the DSG option though - As brilliant as it it, I HATE it, it makes driving seriosly boring. (Sorry ot those who like it, thats just my opinion on it!) Do like the idea of a Rapid Rapid though (would be a good tag line for the vRS version!!!) -
Never been a fan of the Elegance wheels, so.......
Ross Chapman replied to Brimma's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
I ran the vRS wheels on my old Elegance. And the Monte front/rear extensions, just never got around to the arch extensions. -
New Focus ST estate???? 247bhp as stock. Golf 2.0T estate (if you can find one, they are pretty rare!)? Otherwise, Fabia vRS estate, swap the bits from your hatch to it. Return hatch to stock and sell. No need to spend out too much on "new" performance upgrades for the car. Some money saved. Sorted.

Post your Fabia II Picture of the Day
Ross Chapman replied to marTTyn's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
i really like that estate, the wheels really suit it and they arent the usual stupidly small ones that seem to be really popular. Looks really really good, spot on ride height as well! I am fed up of people getting funny with me because I tell them I want to put my Polo Estate on 16s or 17s instead of the stock 14s! -
I had a RaceChip box (the full on "Race" version) on my 1.2 TSi. Went like scalded cat but made it use a fair bit more fuel even at light loads.

VRS-Powered's Skoda Fabia vRS TSI - TMC & ITG @ 211.6 BHP
Ross Chapman replied to VRS-Powered's topic in Fabia Projects
lol, I am looking at getting another Furby (but a derv or a 1.2 again) to replace the Polo for the daily rumble to Cambridge, I can't live with 25(ish) mpg weekly. I would have it if it was an estate and I could afford one! -
I've seen both the CityGo and the Up! and I think the problem with the Up! is the ugly all-glass tailgate. Just looks a bit ugly and cheap TBH.

VRS-Powered's Skoda Fabia vRS TSI - TMC & ITG @ 211.6 BHP
Ross Chapman replied to VRS-Powered's topic in Fabia Projects
uhm, i hate you sometimes! The Polo is still running at less than half that (with half the power). Mind you, I can drown out M3 V8s thanks to a broken exhaust (Removal of pikeys hands needed!) -
Monte Carlo 105 CR or Elegance 105 CR estate
Ross Chapman replied to Brimma's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Depends, I got so far with turning my old Combi (f/r valences - BTW the rear once ISN'T the styling pack ones the UK market gets!). We manged to get a fruit machine in the back of mine and still get the boot shut. I fully intend to do a MCC once I get another Combi. No stealing my projects! LOL!
