If you ask John nicely he will give you 2.3bar of boost
-
You'd see at least 230hp and 360lbft or so.

Save yourself a few quid and get a GTB1756 from X man and get Fabooka to do the software.
The premium you would pay for an SE with similar miles to yours will cover this.
Where are you based? A chap local to me (Shropshire) has fitted a few of these now with very impressive results...

The Comps I had seemed to weigh a tonne, far more than 17" Spiders anyway...

I got Fizzmo ones. They work fine

Had my aux belt done yesterday as it was making a bit of a din. The belt was rather perished, glad I've got a new one!
If you have a hard pipe intercooler pipes then it's a pain to fit the new belt!

Maybe get a set of second hand standards and swap all the inners over?
-
I got these a few years back. They are very good quality!

I've never had heard of anyone having to use white derv in tractors. My employment is not agriculture yet we use tractors a lot and drive long distances on the road. We use the red and always have.
I once forget to fill up before a long trip and had to visit a petrol station and get white diesel. It was quite a costly error!
Currently red is 55ppl. So it's a LOT cheaper.
Going slightly OT here. Apologies!

Be sure to ask the seller what number it is and where the tints and leather has gone!
He got pretty annoyed last time this was asked I seem to remember!

Nope, you can go as far as you like. Some friends of mine took forage down to Somerset levels from Shropshire when the flooding was bad earlier in the year. Not allowed to go too far in a tractor iirc.
Just between fields n stuff i think

Ive never bothered with the trailer test, if I want to tow anything I just use a tractor, that takes your trailer weight from 750kg to 18290kg and a train weight of 24390kg on a standard car licence.
That said this weight limit is almost universally ignored by farmers. I know of folks who go to more than double the limit.

I've got one. But comes with no wiring, just the light unit. £5 posted?

As above, far less hassle to replace with new assuming you can find a reasonably priced one.
Plenty of choice on Ebay

Try and source a second hand hub carrier off a breaker, should be sub £50.I didn't need the brake carrier on mine, but I know they can be expensive to source. I'll try and send you link, I got pair for £40 when I upgraded to bigger brakes.

Yeah Xman has sold a lot on here, other forums and Ebay. I've heard about a couple of 'bad ones' but they were sorted.
Don't buy through Ebay. You will
Get it cheaper via the Forum (no Ebay fees)

I refer to mine as a rolling restoration project.
The list of things to do never seems to end!

Hi,
My Sills are starting to rust on my Fabia and I am looking for a quality repair shop/person local to me to get this sorted before it becomes a real issue.
Does anyone have any recommendations in the Shrewsbury area? I've contacted a few places but not found anyone decent that wants the work.
Thanks,
Joe

111000 here
GTB1756 went on 83000. Still on the factory clutch too with over 500nm Torque.

Yeah just get the plain Pagid discs. I thought the Pagid pads were good aswell. I now run DS2500 pads and they are very good, but they do sqeal a bit at low speeds.

You could try some better bulbs.?!
Or maybe the beefier ballasts...
I've had a 55w kit behind projectors In my Fabia for a couple of years, no issues and the light output is good.
The kit was even cheaper than the one in the link too!
To SE or not to SE? That is the question.

You'll need quite a few supporting mods.
And you will see 230hp easily. I know of the one that did 240, and another that did a rather smokey 250. Mine did 226 before I upped the boost...
