  1. You won't see 230bhp with just the GTB1756 turbo and mapping, you'll need other supporting modifications to reach that figure. Front mount inter cooler and exhaust down pipe/de-cat as a minimum.

To push beyond 230bhp requires a bit more work and ideally changing up to the GTB2056 or 2260 turbos as they have more headroom. Injectors are also starting to reach their limit at around 230bhp.

Sorry I was being overly simplistic.

You'll need quite a few supporting mods.

And you will see 230hp easily. I know of the one that did 240, and another that did a rather smokey 250. Mine did 226 before I upped the boost...

  2. I've never had heard of anyone having to use white derv in tractors. My employment is not agriculture yet we use tractors a lot and drive long distances on the road. We use the red and always have.

I once forget to fill up before a long trip and had to visit a petrol station and get white diesel. It was quite a costly error!

Currently red is 55ppl. So it's a LOT cheaper.

    Going slightly OT here. Apologies!

  3. Ive never bothered with the trailer test, if I want to tow anything I just use a tractor, that takes your trailer weight from 750kg to 18290kg and a train weight of 24390kg on a standard car licence.

That said this weight limit is almost universally ignored by farmers. I know of folks who go to more than double the limit.

  4. Hi,

My Sills are starting to rust on my Fabia and I am looking for a quality repair shop/person local to me to get this sorted before it becomes a real issue.

Does anyone have any recommendations in the Shrewsbury area? I've contacted a few places but not found anyone decent that wants the work.

    Thanks,

    Joe
