On a rain sodden day back in March you kindly parted with that pool and today has been the first time that the weather has been kind enough to remove it from the box and have some fun with it! What you neglected to tell me is how bloody big it is, it's mahoosive!! :eek:, have you any idea how long it takes to fill a pool of this size?, the pic below shows the pool after constant filling from the tap for 7 hours and it still is not full yet!! Sorry, a bit OT but went to an 80's concert at the weekend and amongst the acts was Midge Ure (not someone I was over excited about) but he was absolutely brilliant A lot of 80's groups are coming back on the scene, Human League were on TV this morning announcing a comeback tour with Heaven17 and ABC As for Mr Weller, I'm not a huge fan but I reckon you'll have a great time as he's known for giving it everything at his gigs so go along and enjoy

Personally I think 1.8 TFSI variant on a car of that size will end up stuck on a forecourt and be about as popular as the Yellow Octavia vRS was at Fareham! Unless there is a further dramatic rise in the difference betwen petrol and diesel then the oil burner is the only variant I'd consider having as a 'stock' car, a mixture of DSG and manual and all in dark metalic colours.

They appear to have a map for pretty much everything on the market and some impressive quoted gains but I'd be a bit wary tbh. My advice would be to search the Fabia forums and read owners experiences with various remap options and make a judgement based on this. You may end up paying a little more for the more established market players but utimately I think you'll end up with a better product imo.

I've managed just fine with the 'Off' button so cannot see how this extra more comlplicated method will be of any use? :confused: Is there anything extra by doing this that I'm missing?

I see brake lights as an indication of a slowing vehicle and hazard lights as an indication of a hazard so 'call me old fashioned' but I see the two combined as a vehicle is slowing because of a hazard! :confused:

Fluffmeisters funky Black Roomster Scout Shifty's Silver Fabia vRS before he stripped it (as per the pic in the Brisky callendar) .....and the guy (cant think of his online name atm) with the heavily modified but very stealthy Silver MkI Octavia vRS. All cool cars imo

Only just found this but funnily enough I found this feature on VCDS last weekend whilst doing some logs and enabled the feature too. Completely forgot I'd done it till yesterday when I hit the brakes hard for a corner (a bit of spirited driving ) and the hazzards came on but did not go out again automatically as had to disable it manually via the hazzard switch (which would be inconvenient on a track day :P)! Not decided whether to keep it on but I suppose for the time being I'll leave it. As for the impression it potentially looking like an electrical fault I find a bit odd because if I saw brake lights and flashing hazzards I'd see it as.......................................wel a hazzard I suppose! :confused:

This time tomorrow we'll be meeting .................................. looking forward to it although the drive is a bit daunting!
