i have a shared track car with my mate and we regularly attend knockhill circuits trackcar days, there are a couple of 'decent' cars that go up and one is a nice lamborghini superleggera, the guy who drives it pulls crazy overtaking manouvres and its cool to watch a nice car being driven hard. but it seems a few weeks ago he had a slight incident as this video shows... YouTube - Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera crash, Knockhill was up today and its been repaired but not to a high standard but, hey its just a track car

this whole 'watch your sump' thing is a load of crap, i haven't had any issues with mine although i have hit the ground with the crossmember! the big plastic tray underneath the car can be removed. i'm getting mine raised soon as its now just too low for driving, so hopefully will still look nice but drive without rubbing.

i'll come for a pint, will give me something to do

where are you staying about? last couple of times i've attended its involved sleeping in the car then waiting on the gates opening in the morning. then its a LONG day Steve: i have loads of bits and bobs i've made to identify my other club stands, big gateway signs, unfortunately they wont fit in the car or i could have re-stickered them for Briskoda. :( but if anyone has a flag they could use i could bring a couple of extendable flag stands. would look pretty good. also i'm sure i have a huge green banner in stock, i will look to see if i can do anything with it but no promises and i'd only be 'borrowing' it for the show.

thats completely against the point of the open mouthed look. it was done to provide more air to the FMIC (which i know he doesnt have). either way, going for an open mouth look and putting a plate on the mesh is a waste of time and will look worse into the bargain.

if your going to put a badge on, go with the turbo on the bottom right of the tailgate, personally i think any other badge in place of the skoda badge looks ****. i also agree with everyone else on your choice of rear lights :thumbdwn:

devonutopia's has a vrs engine fitted iirc. i'm sure you can chip the TDi to about 140bhp

yeah i used a tar and glue spray and wipe i have, its a bit industrial but is safe on paintwork and take off everything with no effort.

:eek: i thought that'd be enough to damage the paintwork!

best i managed was 500miles to a tank, didnt do the expansion thing though. and it was a long motorway drive at about 60mph to stay out of boost

what is being meant is check if you have a water leak in the car, check your carpets to see if they are soaking.

tell me more... what are camber shims? the back wheels have a fair bit camber as standard so will that not literally shred tyres?
