Ok, bought 60 plate candy white petrol vRS from new, been an absolute joy to own and drive over last 4 years (has never let me down), looked after like one of the family, had no intention of replacing so quickly but longer I left it the bigger loan I'd have to get to bridge trade in on new car, great deal (I think) on a ex demo T FSI DSG, 64 plate, under 2k, elec sunroof, black design pack, bluetooth, spare wheel, on configurator list price was 26500 ish, I know nobody pays list but thought it was too good to not, colour is the corrida red, not my first choice but different and with the black pack thought it sets it off, growing on me, 19k, paid deposit, haven't seen in metal and 260 miles away [emoji15] I hope I enjoy the DSG and I don't miss my trusty partner of 4 years too much [emoji7][emoji17]

Thanks for the reply silver1011, one of the dealers did say due to the low mileage I may be better off with the std service and it was only £118 too.

Thanks littleade, yeah know where you're coming from, thinking of changing it may be earlier next year so just wondering if it's worth while the extra cash ;o)

Don't know mate, don't think so, called 2 different dealers and neither mentioned it, may be just for diesel?

Hi, My 60 plate petrol vRS is just coming up 4 years old and out of service plan so I'll need to pay for this service, car only covered 32k, major service is due but it is twice as expensive as normal service, think only main differences are spark plugs, air and pollen filter replacements, worth paying the extra or get away with waiting another year / 8k miles. Think I'll go with the Falkens, they are cheaper than the vredestein by about £25-£30 per corner so will give them a shot.

You not going to replace them with 452's again Andy? I'm looking for new tyres and trying to decide between 452's or vredestein.

Looks spot on Rob, makes a big difference, I done the same to mine after a few weeks of picking up from dealer, haven't done anything since (18 months later!!) ;o)

Can't understand why skoda are marketing the new badge design if they aren't actually putting them on their products yet, been out for a while now, wonder what they are waiting for, unless it's a global campaign and uk cars haven't caught up yet??

Not sure how to add pictures but mines the same, White vrs and it looks like it's sticking out, from a distance it even looks like the door not shut properly, thought I was the only one just unlucky but appears to be others, my only real gripe with the car!
