Hi, don't know how up to date the list is with people maybe no longer doing VCDS but anyone in above area can help with a couple of updates, no maxidot want to increase time on see me home lights, cornering fogs, Thanks!!

This has happened twice with me, once when the car was parked up with engine running, all windows went down and second time opened the car usual way and all the windows came down ( didn't keep my finger on the fob either).

Cost £120 charc 80 from b pillar back, dropped off on morning and picked up later that afternoon, now lifetime guarantee.

Been thinking on getting the alloys on my White vrs powder coated or painted black not sure if there is a difference, anyone on here had this done and any photos handy, cheers!!

May be cheaper to get bonnet resprayed, had to get my done cost was about 220-250 can't remember exact price.

Yeah, that post got me thinking and worried it didn't seem normal, I'm also off to Cornwall on holiday this Saturday, will be covering around 1100 miles in that week. Hi, Just covered over 6500 miles in my 9 month old vRS, noticed the engine coolant level is around the low mark,is this normal usage? On previous cars never had to bother with the coolant between services. How is it best to top up, simple as adding water mix with antifreeze or does it need to be drained and topped up fresh, see manual says to ensure a min of 40% coolant additive and also to use recommended G13?, is this stuff a must or just a rip thing? Tempted to top up slightly with water and get them to do it properly on first service end of November. Cheers.

I'd go for the Golf GTi, IMO don't particulary think the Scirocco is a nice looking car...

I got a massive chip on my bonnet the other week, had chipsaway and took to local body repair shop and both said the whole bonnet needs to be sprayed, chipsaway charge £180 and repair centre £207 which I went with, made me more at ease knowing the car was in proper paint booth etc. Know I'll get other chips but you just can't miss this thing on the bonnet! The joys of motoring , just out of interest how much did Skoda dealer charge?

They might tell you but, just incase, don't put your windows down for a few days either until its fully dried out.

Hi, that price doesn't seem too bad, I paid £120 for the 3 rear windows, mine was brand new too and was chuffed with the difference it made, got dark smoke I think and it made the car especially in candy white, you won't be disappointed.

Your time paid off! That's what I really need to get round to doing but finding the time is just impossible!!

I would say maxidot but believe this is included as part of the DSG set up. Spare wheel maybe?

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Left car with engine running and front and rear windows dropped down a few inches by themselves! Didn't know if this was a common problem, or if it could happen when car is locked? Cheers.
