Bora 1.9tdi 130bhp tiptronic highline spec?
donovan replied to donovan's topic in General Automotive Chat
This is the one I think is dodgy with the supposedly engine replacement with no proof. And service history showing first engine had over 200k on but clocks have been adjusted for the replacement engine which has 100k apparently. Lol Ebay item number: 321138921272 -

Apparently Cam cover was changed over. Sounds to good to be true and definitely dodgy. Think I'm going to go view the high spec 150bhp 2002 bora. -

Saying that if engine has been changed then I'm guessing the 6 digit engine number would be different to that of the v5 or hpi -
Bora 1.9tdi 130bhp tiptronic highline spec?

So do you think car is worth the £2300? Also seen a newer bora 1.9tdi 55plate highline. Guy wants 2k for it says service history and mot show 220k however he's had a new engine fitted which has 100k on. I asked if there's receipt and he said there's a hand written one with the guy he bought engine off signature. I'm thinking car probably been clocked with same 200+K miles. Which would you go for? -

Bora 1.9tdi 130bhp tiptronic highline spec?

Just update. When to view car. And what a bag of **** it was. Vcds showed faults in ecu and gearbox although there probably linked. Car was massively underpowered linked to engine faults I think so walked away. So back to searching again. Still would like a bora 1.9tdi 130bhp but in manual form and working lol -
Need some advice guys. Just seen a 2001 51 bora 1.9tdi 130bhp tiptronic with 138k. It's highline spec and has heated seats, cruise and multi function steering. Also has full service history including timing belt change and all previous mot certificates. Guy wants £1300 for it I originally wanted a manual but I'm considering the change for a year probably won't do more than 20k in it. Is it worth me buying it if all is ok such as gearshift, turbo ect?

2 Goodyear eagle f1s which were fitted few months ago on front. And on back there's Goodyear efficient grip and another Goodyear eagle f1 although the v shape. Basically tyre place at time didn't have the eagle f1s so my only choice was Goodyear efficient grip. -

Mot wouldn't be an issue. I would be more than happy to get it mot'd before sale if possible -

Also mileage is actually less at around 132000 but I have put 135000 so I don't have to edit mileage all the time. Car runs sweet and if I could afford to run it I would keep it but with a drop in wage and trying to find a new house it's just currently not possible -

This is back up for sale. Just can't afford to run it mainly because I am in the process of buying my first house so need somthing cheaper to run for the time being.. I have dropped price considerably. Also included in the sale is a brand new timing belt kit which retails at over £100. -
As above I have a for sale phiaton PS20bt dual chamber stereo Bluetooth headphones which are brand new in box. These are one of the best in ear Bluetooth headphones you can buy. They use v3.0 Bluetooth profile. The reason for sale is I originally bought these 2 months ago to use when at the gym however I have since injured my self so won't be using these anytime soon. I paid £129 from iheadphones who won't allow me a refund due to having them more than 30days. These are the black version and any one who doubts these for sound quality look up reviews or better still try them for yourself. I'm wanting (bear in mind these are brand new in box black version) £85 delivered special delivery PPG or BT

Has ecu ever been opened before? That has been caused probably by water damage. Question is how. Most likely wiring loom to ecu had water damage or similar. I would check wiring to ecu first then see what other side of ecu looks like as it may be worse than you think with possible processer damage

Lol you sure that ain't no diesel. Lol On a serious note it is normal sound for a FSI engine.
