Hi I am looking to purchase Bilstein B8 front shock for my 2015 Octavia, there are 2 choices acc. to the Bilstein site 50mm (35-229902) or 55mm (35-229919) strut outside diameter Am I able to measure this diameter from the standard shock that is already on my car? Or how do I know which one to purchase? Thanks a lot Fergal

They measure approx 59mm, whereas the shock on the current car is approx 45mm - quite a big difference so it won't fit. Bilstein part number is 24-229937 According to the Winparts and other websites - these are the correct part number for my car but in reality they don't fit. Anybody have any similar experiences or know the correct part number I should order? Thanks a lot Fergal
