Does the new S3 lose the retracting screen?

Nice choice mate, funny enough was looking at one of these to replace my S3. In the end I opted for the normal Passat saloon for quicker delivery

If they did the price would be really high tho

The noise thing is such a waste of time. I prefer no added effect, it's not turbo related Cars are personal things and what makes it good for one makes it bad for another

Don't disagree at all. As an S3 owner I also found the review surprising and funny at points The Golfis just better set up for fast driving end of. That said it hughtlughts everyone likes different things and not one setup is what all buyers want I'm a golf fan and have been since my mk2 but I bought the s3 there a reasons for everyone's purchase Ps the sound is via vibrating unit and not via mp3 playing turbo noise?

Yea I do agree, I had 3 torsen quattros before this S3. My point is they are subtle and I doubt are really make or break to most. Some yes but most won't be fussed

I agree on sports diff but was meaning standard systems. If keeping to legal road driving it is not obvious what is haldex or torsen. That was my only point

How many people can tell difference in normal, legal road driving?

Sorry for daft questions but does the golf come with charge cable with normal plug or does it require special socket? Also does battery and petrol motors both power front wheels only

Yip that's fair mate. Audi with exception of a few models don't make drivers cars and tbh are really pricey. You will find more rewarding cars elsewhere. Plenty gd cars out there these days just not many exciting ones I don't think

Rule out the S3 now I think ur mind is made up. I'm not here to defend as we all buy what we like. Ability is part of it, design is also. U.K. Pricing different and with deal I got our octavia vrs was very close to s3 price. Quality differs trust me I own both You don't rate handling or 4wd of s3 so I recon you should rule it out and go with your new choice

You also pay hugely for badges yes but also build quality and 4wd.

hi mate, I have an S3 and have for some time. I may have a slight biased view but also try to be fair as well. I must point out my car is only ever used on roads and not tracks. comparing the S3 and the R yes there are differences and the R just feels that bit more alive. but in my opinion, on the road those differences are small. Cost issues for me worked that the spec of R I wanted vs the S3 is that the S3 actually worked out a cheaper deal. this would vary depending on what options were important to you. the S3 is a good day to day car, its by no means an on the edge drivers car dream but its a very quick and capable car. I strongly suggest you make up your own mind as we all rate cars differently to suit our own preferences.

I reckon you should go to another dealer and drive the S3 too I fail to believe you will be disappointed unless you are after a track car

Hi all, Struggling here after an update on a device it is now asking for original iCloud email address for login. Unfortunately I can't remember the iCloud address only my Apple ID which is different. Any ideas how to find out iCloud email address?

That's half the attraction as when stolen it doesn't shout look at me. That said you under estimate most as I think many will know it's a fast golf Not scaremongering it's just something people should be aware of these days. Member on here suffered this

Downside is they are still easy to pick out for the nasty people of the world

Thanks folks. I already have a dusk to dawn light so looks like what I'm after may not exist. Best suggestions are fine with me and adding a 2nd floodlight seems better
