The time has now come to buy a yeti 1.2 tsi elegance went for a test drive first in the Renault capture from the outside I did think this is the car for me. well the inside just did not do it ,too much plastic /shine for me /ride very hard /steering was so light I did not feel in control going around corners / the seats don't hold you in!! sounds daft but I was fallig all over/ just a clio lifted up......? Then I went to try the yeti well lets put it this way my wife only had to look at me 1 min into the drive to know how much I loved it , I have had the 1.2 tsi in my old roomster but in the yeti it felt like I was in more control (might be the driving hight) or the way the seats hug into you /and when you did have to put your foot down you had it there not like the capture. Now getting a yeti from Arnold clark (best price by far) is my only worry its only done 10k (who with ?) will my warranty be ok ? going to take it for first service as soon as I get , £14,500 is a lot of money for me (on my wages) and its taken me years saving to be able to buy this car outright one worried yeti man .

I wanted to trade in my roomster at a skoda dealer but would not come up to my 8k with (carfile quote) so we have the roomster 1.2 tsi se 105bhp cappuchino with only 18,000 miles and still under skoda warranty until july 2014.the only extras on this SE model is the arm rest and spare wheel 1 owner from new and full skoda service history , outside and inside in still like new will put some photo's later when I find out how to wanted 8,000 . as I said this is only a feeler so description is brief

looking to change from a roomster to the yeti and have seen a 2013 1.2 tsi elegance with 10906 miles for sale at 14,800 from Arnold clark (Stafford) now the alarm bells are ringing in my head as I cannot see anything near that price , does say only one owner( but who I wonder) or is it me just thinking the worst has anyone bought of Arnold clark before ? any info would be a help bri

had a problem with my passengers front window not working on the passengers switch (drivers side worked) so rang hortons and got it booked in for a few weeks later , handed my keys over and sat down for a few coffees after about 1hr I was told I needed a new switch but it will take a few days for one to come !!!. so do hortons not keep any parts ?. I am sure they know what a problem the roomster has with the electric windows. so another 60miles round trip next sat will be needed they did say they could do it in 2 days but working days it has to be another sat . think I need to give the new branch at Grimsby a try for the 14 plate in November .been to hortons three times and had 100% satisfaction but this time it felt like "it only a roomster "

too true Lorenzo I wanted a steel/grey dealer told me at the weekend that they had stopped doing that colour !!

was told yesterday that skoda are not doing the steel/grey for the roomster now ??

thankyou I do like that and the rails look good on it too its now a fight between the steel grey and the cappuccino but having another cappuccino would not seem like a new car if you know what I mean, thankyou all for your help , does anyone know the waiting time for a SE (105) ? when I got mine in 2011 it was about 14 weeks.

funny that the wife is called pat think the red is number 3 at moment anyone got a good photo of the steel grey please. will have a look around at rainworths on sunday .

well its time to say bye to my 2011 roomster se 105 , took the wife to have a look at a new yeti that( I )liked I sat in the front with a big smile on my face then looked in the mirror at my wife in the back , oh no she was not happy not enough room for her and the grankids so its going to have to be another roomster but cannot make my mind up about the colour had cappuccino so its a red/steel grey/or petrol blue . rainworths at the weekend

what is your dealer doing about it then ? must say rainworth have great so far.

Hi all, Well my roomster( 1.2 se tsi 105 man) arrived at 1130 am today and I was very excited as this is my first new car, as the driver pulled car into my drive for me (due to me not being able to drive at the moment for health reasons).The on my face soon turned to a :( when the driver opened the door for me to see a onyx/silver trim all around the inside of the car and not the onyx/onyx i ordered :( . I rang the dealer and they asked if they offered me something free would I be happy with onyx/silver this was not what I wanted to hear and I refused his offer, well nearly 4 hrs and three or four phone calls later the driver has taken the car back as they say they can change the silver trim to onyx they just need time to get all the parts and should be ready in two weeks, I am happy for them to change all the trims as he said they all come off easy. Does anybody know whether changing lower dash trim/door sides etc is that easy to do ? Bri

well i get my roomster se 1.2 tsi 105 tomorrow 27/07/11 (ordered 23/04/11) 50 yrs old and my first new car. cannot drive the car untill sept 3rd due to my heart bypass i know i should have waited for 61 plate but needed something to play with for the 12 weeks i will be off work.thankyou to you all for all the info and advice sure i will be back asking for more info very soon. brian CAR NOW GONE BACK DUE TO DEALER AS NOT WHAT I ORDERED ordered oynx/oynx trim got oynx/silver dont like one bit will write new report about the day later :(

thanks rob all ok got home after 6 days got my wife to ring rainworths mansfield about car,returned call from rainwrth will be bringing my car to me tue or thurs.wife then said they want to talk to me about reg number ! asked if i wanted any letters on i said would be nice to have grankids H F L and T job done well done rainworth so far.

only just started letting my son drive my 6yr old car lol ,will just enjoy sept 3rds drive so much . think i will know every word in that owners manual by then cheers bri

just spoke to mark kynaston about me not been able to collect my new roomster next week due to going into hospital and not been able to drive, he was great dont worry we will bring car to you and take p/x away when i am ready after op. think he said he wanted some money too , thankyou rainworth.

just be told by rainworth skoda mansfield that they will have my roomster end of next week . but i go in hospital for a triple bypass when it comes then i will have to watch it in the drive for 6 weeks

that seems odd as mine was a week 25 build and on 23 june it was saying in transit to port :wonder: just rang suk and they said it was on the boat today :wonder:

you order in march!! and now they say no more this year :wonder:

my roomster se 1.2 tsi 105 ordered on 23rd april is now showing (at germany port released for shipping) hope i dont have too long to wait now, as going into to hospital in 4 weeks for a triple heart bypass and want a day or two driving my first new car

could anyone tell me how long it takes from (transit to german port) to my dealer are we talking 3 weeks ish cheers bri
