I've been affected by this! I didn't even realise! I booked a windscreen replacement a couple of weeks ago and I waited in all day for them on Saturday and they never showed!! Well now I know why!! Great!

I'm attending, haven't missed a show yet, it's a fantastic gathering of modified VAG cars. Plus the Saturday night out is great fun! I've showed a couple of my cars there over the last couple of years, last year I had my TT on the TT Owners Club stand and we won, Best Club Stand! I was the lucky sod who had to go up and collect the trophy!

Hello Dave!!! I've followed your footsteps into vRS ownership! I had such a disaster yesterday, I pre booked my train tickets to Sheffield mid week, I got to the train station to collect the tickets and they weren't there! Turns out I'd been scammed by some dodgy website! Grrr So there I was, left having to pay £150 for myself and the girlfriend to get more train tickets so I could get my car! Gutted! At least the collection of the car went smoothly, it's AMAZING! I'm so happy with it, it's a lot quieter than I thought it would be, the road noise is probably less than my TT Roadster! The previous owner is on this forum somewhere.. where are you Gary?! The car has had plenty of mods fitted, leaving me with not a lot to do... It's got xenons, cruise control, black grill, lcr splitter, FK coilovers, 312mm brakes, Jabba rear ARB, poly bushes, 17" BBS splits, forge fmic, turbo back stainless exhaust, stage 2 remap. Hi all, I've just joined Briskoda and was a little disappointed to see there's not a lot of meets organised for us southerners! Do we have a rep that could organise something? Perhaps a bi monthly meet up or a convoy to various shows throughout the year? I'd gladly put my name forward. I'd quite like the chance to meet like minded Skoda drivers and have a chin wag about our cars. I come from the VAG background (this being my 20th VAG car) and don't want to have to turn up to Golf and TT meets in the new Furby when there's a Skoda meet just round the corner! Greg

Did anything come of this? I'd be interested as it's only down the road from me!

Hey all, Just a quick post to say hi, I'm Greg and am currently driving an Audi TT 225 Roadster which is up for sale as I need a diesel for my commute to work and i'm looking to buy a Fabia VRS!
