Basically i needed a engine for another car, so i purchased a accident damaged fabia, its had a light tap on the front, but the bonnet, wings and bumper are no good. Engine code ASZ MARK 1 FABIA 1.9 TDI Engine obviously has gone, but there will be a gearbox, turbo, and various pipes etc left over I have been advised the ECU is remapped. Panels are black wheels are original vrs wheels, further details will be uploaded tomorrow once i actually have the car, parts can be posted within reason, i don't really want to do 'dibs' etc, but a small deposit will secure most things till pay day etc, for best replies please txt me, or PM me. 07779979877 Parts will be in west bromwich B70 Most things can be posted

** For the quickest replies PM me or text me ** Not sure if this is going to help anyone on here, but i recently brought a Cupra R, which only the turbo was meant to be at fault, however its the top end, and not the turbo, so with that I'm planning to keep the engine and bits and bobs and do a conversion into a MK2 after having it repaired... So I've got a Cupra R breaking, minus the engine etc.. Parts can be posted, listed on ebay (extra costs), collected (Walsall Brownhill, or West Bromwich). because the local drug dealer had one, erm thats all i see in these cars now, i have not seen a clean example in a good while!

The misfire does go away, its only when cold, and if revved a few times, its fine, is there anyway of checking the injectors, and the loom, to actually work out which it is, instead of buying a loom, as he did say it was changed, but it was just taking a mans word for it, which may now be complete BS.

Just done a scan with vcds; 16688 - Cylinder 4 P0304 - 35 - 00 Misfire detected Best advise from here?

Previous owner stated the glow plugs and loom were changed, but i will get these changed, any other ideas?

Hi guys, brought a fabia recently, and started to have a few issues surprise surprises, moments after buying the car, there was a knocking, which i though was the DMF, this has since sorted its self out, and I've put it down to been stood for a while? now on cold start up, there is a white/grey maybe a blue tint smoke and the engine seems to be missing at the same time, and the cars shaking, had a few fabias, not something I have come across before. The smoke starts off thick, after 8/10 seconds, it becomes less apparent, and comes as puffs, in line with the car missing, leave it running a bit longer, tap on the accelerator, the car will sort its self out, engines smooth, and smoke becomes less and less. And also sometimes, on stand still, if i rev the car, when dropping from 1500 to 1000 RPM theres a sort of rattle, faint, but can be heard. Any advise guys?
