  5. Well with some regret im breaking a car which was brought as a project for someone, who let me down on the purchase, and now there wasn't been much interest in the car, so to recoup my minds im having to break it, i know body parts etc wont be of much use, but its got your standard cupra r spec, 18" alloys, brembo brakes, BAM engine etc, so maybe of some use to the Octavia Lads. For arguments say this will need a price, so 4 genuine 18 cupra r wheels @ £450. Parts can be posted, collected. Payment through cash, bank transfer, paypal (gift) Collection Brownhills or West Bromwich Many Thanks guys 07779979877

  8. Removed from a mk5 gti 2.0 TFSI done next to no miles, think it had done about 25k when removed, 2006/06, BWA engine code, should fit octavia vrs mk2 TFSI. £40 + PP
  9. Pair of front seat belts from a fabia vrs. MK1 Black in color 50 + PP
  10. I pick the car up tomorrow, so will attach some detailed pics and also tyre details.
  11. Right, ive done a deal on a Leon FR+ MK1, last of the old shape as my daily runner, i sold my fabia vrs, and thought I could do with a petrol, so had a Leon Cupra R, which is currently up for sale, but I have realised im simply doing too many miles at the moment to justify a petrol. But one of my first mods will be to add my 18'' Cupra R alloys. So the 17s will be up for sale, i didn't check if it was a set of 5 or 4 which is my mistake but either way im setting the price the same at £525, i do not want to start a discussion on the price, these alloys are rare and currently I can not find any for sale. These are offered here first before the world of eBay, and even the cupranet forum, due to me prefering the fabia vRS's over the leons, just due to size i've had to opt for the Seat. As far as im aware these alloys fit over the brembo brake set up, so are pretty much ideal for the mk1 fabia vrs. All tyres are good, wheels have minimal marks, pictures will be attached monday/tuesday. I will happily part ex against fabia vRS alloy wheels should it help the sale, and will provide tools to swap the wheels over etc and a cup of tea! any further info, just drop me a PM Location: Brownhills - Walsall - West Midlands

  13. something came up about the inlet manifold flap, but i cleared it and it hasnt returned after trying to start it again
  14. Made a video of it trying to start hope this helps? Also noticed theres no noise of fuel coming through, normally when I turn the ignition on a diesel or even petrol u sort of hear the car priming, making a swoosh sound, theres nothing at all from this.

  19. Brought a ibiza 1.9 tdi BLT a few months ago as a non starter with fire damage to the loom, no lights were coming on the dash other than mileage and time. After some a chap has repaired the loom, all lights now come on, the car turns over at normal speed, but will not fire, if easy start is used, the car does something but sounds like a bag of nails, moment easy start is stopped, the car also stops. The loom was burnt from the engine, through to the ignition switch. A relay was replaced, and crank shaft sensor, we then thought it was the ECU, but this has been tried with a free running version, no immo, and still no luck. All thats happening at the moment, is its turning over, after some time the oil light starts flashing, and I can here various relays ticking any advise guys?
  20. I cant see it being an alignment issue as its not doing nothing, even when its not screwed onto the car, with just the plug in, its baffling....
