Is anyone running 17x8 on their fabia?
jasonsmithh replied to jasonsmithh's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Thanks, I don't suppose you have any shots from the back do you to see how the stance looks, and they would probably have to be tooked to be able to go low enough? -

Okay thanks mate, if you have some time I would love to see that pic, cheers! -
As the title states I want to buy some BBS LM's and the size I can find are 17x8 et35. I was wondering if anyone on here is running them and do they have a picture because I want to be able to go low with it, and yes I am aware that I will need to stretch tyres onto it so I would more than likely get 205 40 17 all round. Help appreciated! Jay

Back pressure on mufflerectomy
jasonsmithh replied to samuelslammed's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
I have a pd100 and had a mufflerectomy and I didn't notice any power drop just a slightly (but not much) louder noise I then got a decat so now so it's a straight through, and I have noticed a lack of power slightly. I was told the mufflerectomy is to far back to affect anything? -
Heads up....Fabia leather for sale!
jasonsmithh replied to estorilblue's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Loving the sound of this!! Please get a progress blog up soon man! I want to see fitting pictures of the air ride and everything!! Haha -
I have the fk's and I am happy with them for the price everything I wanted and can go really low if you want to. I was in your situation between Jom and fk but I went for fk because they make loads of coilovers for German cars and are German standards. Jom however I think are Chinese? So I wouldn't trust them

Yes your right, if i had the choice i would have a vRS but because i only got this (pd100) at 17 the insurance was a joke and this came up cheap. The Front bumper was £140 and the rear was £50 then i have the vrs mats and some other stuff. I am missing the spoiler and all the interior. Also it hasnt affected my insurance much too :)so this time it hasnt cost me much but i agree, i have seen lots of s3's and r32 replicas that look the spitting image but they must have cost more than and s3? Anyway thanks for the complements BUT I AM ALSO NOT A FAN OF THE BLUE WHEELS AND THAT IT WHY THEY HAVE GONE! haha

Is this service quote reasonable?
jasonsmithh replied to jasonsmithh's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
So also need to change the water pump and the fuel and pollen filter? Is this something that I can do or does it have to be done in te service? -

Hi all, the time has come when I need to get my car serviced. I have been quoted from a local friends garage £300 for.. -general service -oil change -tracking -cambelt -breaks bleeding Price includes the labour and parts. I want to take it to a garage so I can get the service light turned of and a stamp in the book. However would this price be cheaper if I did something's myself? Like an oil change is this difficult? Thanks Jay
