Thanks for the reply, so I can't do it myself using a vcds without this code? And will they give me a new code when they recode it so if it ever stopped working again because it was working and then I took the battery out for too long when replacing it :( Jay

so my fob isn't working and it needs recoding. However after reading up on how to do it apparently I need to enter my skc code which is on some tag? Well i remember having a white tag on the key when I got the car however I don't know where this has gone so does anybody know how I can find out this code?? Help is appreciated Jay

I have a fabia elegance 1.9tdi and I have had a remap. The mapper thinks its on the lines of 135bhp but I'm not convinced (also how much are rolling roads so I can check this?) What would I need to do next to get more power from it? I'm guessing a new turbo but what turbo? Would it be a pd130 or do I go straight to a hybrid 150? And then another map. Help is appreciated Jay

Check the thread of the bolts and the adaptor to see why there not tightening up before buying something that may not be needed. Also how much did you pay for your lm reps if you don't mind me asking and what spacing and size are they if you need adaptors?

I would like to know the answer to this too because i had a mufflerectomy and then just replaced the cat and the other silencer for another pipe so its pretty much a straight through but it still doesnt make this noise. However mine is only the pd100, will this make a difference?

What is the difference between a normal turbo and a hybrid?

As title says what is an egr delete and what does it do? Does it make a difference to the performance or the exhaust sound? I have a straight through pipe so who'll it give that 'turbo spool' sound? Thanks Jay
