I'm having a Skoda supplied detachable with twin leccy fitted next Friday, no cutting of bumpers required.

Ok, so, the order was messed up at their end ( not Skoda ) and they have agreed to supply and fit me a towbar instead. I have to say I'm very pleased with that. It'll be a removable towbar so no touch parking either ;-)

I just got these through today and have just fitted them. Excellent look, very happy and thanks for the link. Question is, can we not fit these all round in the indicators? Would then get that nice crisp typical led on off flick as they work.

That looks great, Just taken delivery of mine and it spoof needs to come down off it's high horse. The 30mm hobbies above look the go. I'm also going to swap out the Luxons I have as I hate them! I have to be honest, despite this issue ( which on balance I'd have perhaps used just to impress people) I love the car, it's without any doubt far more than I could have hoped for. The towbar, whether towing the caravan, boat or bikes will certainly prove far more useful so hey, I may actually come out of this on top. Yes, I'm aware of where the button should be, its not there.. the parking sensor button is there, no park assist button with a steering wheel tho..

Just sent some emails. Re the park assist, I think its more than just software, theres no button to activate it! The cars right as every other extra is on it (and there are a few). Will find out tomorrow.

So, picked up my Combi 170 DSG DPF Elegance today, Initially blown away with the car and all the options, wheels looked a bit busier than id expected, especially as I'd specced the Lunas but couldnt have them. Happy I was until, I discovered that the Park Assist system hasnt been fitted, front and rear sensors and maxi dot, but no park assist! Then I discover the wheels on it are infact the 9 spoke Luxon, not the std Themistos. The wheels I know can be sorted, the Park assist I'm fuming about as I think its a factory fit only item. Gutted. Although it is a lovely car, and the sound system upgrade was well worth it! the mdi not so as the Bluetooth is fine.

They just quoted me £500 gulp! WTH is so special about the canbus reprogram, does it really require an extra £200 on the price?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So, Picking up my fully loaded 170 CR DSG Combi on Tuesday from the dealer. I want a towbar (Bikes/Trailer/Caravan)so thought I'd ask a couple of dealers for a price for a twin electric removable one. The dealer supplying the car said £850! and a more local one £650. What the hell?? do they now make towbars out of platinum? Can anyone point me in the direction of a sensibly priced supplier? Cheers Dave

@Phil, No. Not missing the point really, I just like to have it in view, texts, emails etc are all easier to deal with that way. While stationary of course, traffic, lights, what have you.

Ok so, Cars in stock (finally) and am going to order a bracket from Dashmount to hold a phone holder. Before I do, anyone use anything I should see first? Ta.

Problem is I ( personally) hate multi spoke wheels! Dyou think dealers will be offering alternatives as I'm sure there will be more buyers complaining at the removal of the Luna. If there was just the Thermistor and the Luxon I doubt I'd have ordered the car. They've already changed the colour on me after discontinuing my first choice. Grrr.

Just called my dealer and am awaiting a call back. I dont want the Thermisto or Luxon wheels as they are multi spoke and I personally don't like them as they (in my opinion) are fussy and are a nightmare to keep clean when you travel big miles as I do. The reason I went for the Lunas is that theyre simple 6 spoke easy to maintain wheels. We'll see what they come back with.

Bit worried to see that Luna alloys are not shown anymore as I've specced on my Elegance/Combi due Sep!
