  1. And that is that! Ordered a crystal white 2.0l tdi FR ibiza coupe, with bi-xenon adaptive headlights day time LEDs and 17"Tagus alloys. All for less that had originally ordered the bof standard 1.6tdi FR, over the moon! 2 months build!
  2. Lol and lol, seb! Golf R? I wish ;-) golf GTD I also wish,, getting prices on the 143bhp 2.0tdi ibiza FR now that maps to an apparent 180 odd brake with 320lbft torque?? If that's right and the price is right could be ordering a factory build this weekend. Also I hear can manage 60+mpg if driven nice, which mine would be commuting.
  3. Well I would hope so, now so unsure of what to do seb.
  4. I have been commuting from ulverston Cumbria to Warrington a few times this month and have got to say the Skoda is a great car to drive, it just seams to be quite fun to drive.
  5. Yea the car was at another dealership and he decided (even though it was showing as available on seats system) that he wouldn't give it up.
  6. Or not...... Spoke to seat today, deals fallen through. No new car for me even though been waiting on apparent delivery for over a week. Back to the drawing board
  7. Your kidding? :-( my vrs does/did 43-45mpg to my place of work (50mile round trip) and I have agreed in principle to chop it in for a 1.6tdi 105 ibiza (although there not sure if its actually available still even though I got £250 riding on it) I will kick myself hard if I don't see over 55mpg in the ibiza, the only saving grace is the low tax and lower monthly payments.
  8. Suppose, if they did they certainly didn't care
  9. Mine went in with revo stage 1 for a misfire fault, vw plugged it in and linked the fault to the ecu and updated and rectified it no problem.
  10. There will be - fully tailored original Skoda rubber car Mat set going up for sale soon and a set of fabia mid guards.
  11. It will be the only seat you see with a briskoda.net bonnet sticker not cupra.net lol
  12. I did but the trade in price for my RS was too low and Skoda wouldn't move, the seat garage worked the figures hard to get me under my monthly spend and have paid my current pcp off with my car as a trade in no extra cost added. So the monte and the seat ibiza actually worked out very similar.
  13. The 2.0tdi came out same as the fabia rs price-wise on my pcp, which wasn't the point of the cost saving exercise. The 1.6tdi came well under and maps to the same as a stock 2.0tdi, I have a revo switch box and have had all my new cars done so I trust in it greatly. Plus road tax on the 1.6tdi is only £30 a year free for the first year, 2.0tdi was £100
  14. The Skoda garage at rainworth does revo
  15. Ordered the new car today, a mpg machine! I have had a great time with my vrs and its been a very very fun car to own. I love the looks and the drive and the gearbox. But as my needs turned more towards a derv I have ordered a new 2013 seat ibiza coupe fr 1.6tdi, which will be mapped from new to ~148-150bhp and ~ 217lbft torque. Pictures to show it off once it arrives, show n shine!
  16. Ohh forget that I see yours was a mk1 vrs and I'm thinking of my mk 2 vrs
  17. Pm me about what deal you got on your trade in and on the monte? I need to know I'm getting a good one :-) mike
  18. That's what in looking to do! Chop the vrs for a monte then map it, mapped its similar performance to the stock 2.0tdi (143ps) cr lump in the ibiza
