  1. No the rubber clamps were solidly clamped down, this isn't a vehicle specific one its actually off our scenic. It fit well though the cloth was thin just prevented any rubber-dust-dirt contact with my paint. Was an amazing day, views on coniston were excellent!
  2. It's a Skoda adventure ;-) have a great bank holiday all!
  3. Suppose ill get one ordered :-) does my plan of attack seem reasonable to get this car sorted?
  4. You selling/already sold it if not fitted?
  5. I don't know of its just residue left over from some work done on the car but there is slight oil deposit going round with the coolant, subsequently scumming up the sensors. I think I'll buy a new expansion bottle, and drain all the coolant out. Then clear the fault codes and see what the exhaust management light one is at the same time, lambada sensor probably?
  6. Cheers, are the sensors inside of them?
  7. Anyone know where I can get an expansion bottle cheap for one of these? With sensors? Mine needs replacing. Or is anyone selling one? If I'm getting one off eBay what other cars will one of these fit from? Cheers
  8. I had new mechatronics and gearbox after 6th cocked up. Took a long time to fix!
  9. The fair thing to do is ask to see an example they have supaguard and judge then on that. Can't tar them all with the same brush as their showroom cars look very nicely done, I took one out and the week after it was back in the showroom spotless.
  10. I read that 1.0 Eco boost ain't as Eco as suggested, I also drove one was rats undies
  11. As its free ill let them do it, if it looks bad complain to the hills. If ok ill take it home and pamper it with the free kit, got to wait another's 7 weeks anyway whilst its built lol
  12. I can vouch for the AG bird **** wipes, they are decent!! Just use as above, pat down and wait till soften and remove. As they stay in the car I wipe off whilst wet, I never let it dry.
  13. Hi all Ok so dealer has kindly thrown in supaguard treatment on my new buy. It's actually made no difference to the price I had already negotiated which was £2057 off, anyway. A little background info is that I'm really into car detailing and have most of the kit including orbital polishing machines so forth and dabble in paint correction methods (when I get time) In the showroom the cars that the garages valets have prepped have been excellent, having spent a while in there once whilst they took my trade in out I got real a good look around one and couldn't see a mark on it with any angle of light. So I'm not sure if I'm to snub it and say no thanks don't touch my new car, and go away and do what I will with it. Or just let then do it and hope it comes out as good as the showroom cars? Has anyone had a car done with it and what's it been like to wash, then maintain the shine? Any improvement. I know this stuff will probably wash off after a few warm autoglym car shampoo washes, but if its free? Also, anyone got any pictures of killer clean white cars? Just so I can see what I should be achieving... Cheers people :-)
  14. Yes, mines done that. Dropped down on paddles 7th-4th accidentally hit kick down it goes down 4th-3rd, I press up 3rd-4th(in theory), it's already hit the revs to go up from 4th and ended up in 5th bogged down.
  15. 36....I get that after a few spirited sprints on a decent journey.
  16. We've got a Renault, it's ten years old. It's electronics are giving up the ghost
