Well you could disable it probably in certain instances. But it will get more complicated with insurance involved if disabled and such. So it probably will also have a weight in court and make cars more expensive with side effects of the system.

Well i read that from july 2022 on most model cars will be fitted with an ISA system in Europe. From 2024 ISA will be mandatory on new cars https://etsc.eu/intelligent-speed-assistance-isa/ Not much to do with delivery time but just wanted to throw it in here for peeps that still going to order.

There is nothing you can do afaik. No one knows what the real deal is. I think they messed up big and just maybe your car is somewhere on the side waiting an forgotten about or maybe hard to get picked up for further assembly. March/april 22 seems to be the golden delivery period as most got that new estimate.

Yeah this shows that Skoda's order/delivery system is sheit Some countries probably have quite some slots like UK and get things done like they should.

DQ 200 DSG from 2012, do not remember what software there was and was updated to. I checked the car with vcds back then and had notification there was a newer fw.

My previous car was delivered without any update of the DSG and car software as i had to ask for it later. So might be better to ask the dealer to update everything when they are prepping it.

Honestly it feels they are talking rubbish and do not even know themselves.. Like my dealer only speculated march/april 2022 and till date no information at all. He said to me "i do honestly not know and will let you know when i know something". /stop rant

The way they produce cars like that was from the past. Afaik looking at the video of car production they do every color in one go. I suppose specs will be the same thing so i do not think its that. They are just a mess. edit: what probably could be the main issue is bad registration of built cars so no one (dealers) even knows its been built and are parked because of specific spec's and are forgotten or are parked so bad it takes more time to retrieve them so they end up being pushed more to the back of the factory line.

It is clear there is absolutely no delivery by order procedure... My next car will not be a vag group car if i can help it. Delays and stuff sure but the way they deliver recent ordered cars first is rediculous. No idea how it goes at BMW for example but i am sure not that big of a mess like Skoda has.

Lol that could indeed be as seeing orders from august and june and even september + oktober 2021 get finished is beyond me. Juli 2021 could be an issue order month as i am still waiting for a beginning july 21order. And i only got a probable march/april 2022 delivery and got a mail yesterday from the dealer no new info or estimate 😢

Never forget to backup. When using long coding take a pic of the exact orig codes so yo u can manually revert back if needed and could not with the backup.

Have an order end june 21 and till date nothing but a probable date march/arpil 2022. Your build date is the fastest i have seen done.

Always take pictures of the car before driving off so you can have proof it was there before you took off if you missed it the first time.

I have no idea how they handle such things honestly. A friend of mine did have a transport dent on his new car but the dealer repaired it (dent and scratch). But a big accident i have no idea how they handle it.
