Yeah it is not looking good and i guess the july 2021 orders will be for februari the soonest or march 2022 😕 But hope some July 2021 orders are getting made.

I think they all have a white protection foil covering them My Scala is still on a list and no information available.

Yeah my dealer said when ordering a new car that the scala would not have the delay issue like the octavia, kamiq, karoq, kodiaq. But it turns out it does and maybe even worse because it is not ordered that much 😕

Yeah hopefuly you can receive it soon. Also ordered july but no build date or information. Only an extimate of a build date somewhere 2022 😕

What worries me is that i see mostly octavia's delivered and sometimes Kamiq but Scala car's almost silence. I hope they are completing them too and are not put last on the production scedule 😕

Where i am at the price stays the same luckily. The signed ordered holds and has to be respected. Estimate is also written on it but these circumstances can prolong it halas same as the situation i was in some years ago but had to do with manufacturing problems.

My previous car would have been max 3 months waiting. It got prolonged multiple times till it became somewhat more than 9 months. So now i am in the same bloody ride all over again 😕

I wonder if every model out there gets pushed back that hard or only the models that are ordered the most 😕

Problem is that the chip issues will still be there till the end of 2022 and who knows longer. Better try to make an order where you can get the options you want and where the order cannot be changed by them. If possible you will win a lot of time and get what you want. Order laters as some suggest you might probably still be faced with missing options.

Nowadays with those reocurring grave faults, i would suggest to get a dashcam also for the interiour to see whats happening for insurance? Its scarry thinking you could cause an accident because of it 😕

Some are built recently and those are having the options and some countries seem to keep the options even if the build date is later. But as you said a lot were allready built and probably with the options but without the missing chips.

Check the inside track line of the tyres maybe, it got damaged.

If it will really be 140 days then i rlly hope to get it end this year or beginning next year. Would love the new car for the winter. But as you said most production will be used for parked cars.

Then i hope you waited more to get it all included btu make sure they check the option list and update everything before you take over

For me no information at all till now, still no estimate of production. I could get more info this year but most probably somewhere next year 😕

For me personally as i have difficulties seeing at night i would buy the option to get better light. I had xenon on my car and it was really good. The halogen are just not sufficient for me. So first time having those lights and rly eager to check them out when i have the car eventually 🙄

If the socket is the most convenient for you, you could get something with a switch? Lots of different choices.

So you want to use parking mode but do not want an active socket? The usb by the mirror option turns off also. For an active after shutdown you can use the socket you mention or use an empty fusesocket ot piggyback from one?

Yess it was tought till the end of the year but turns out it was for 2 weeks. So i would guess some production lines only for parked cars and other ones for new cars. It is good news to get all going again.

Depends if your dealer want to do something about it as you are not the only one probably askign for a rental car 😕 i saw someone had a deal to get it free for one month and then has to pay weekly to use it. Good luck! Hopefully you can swap it in on time.

Yeah you are right. My friends BMW headlight was too bright too like he was using the high beam but it was in fact still just the dimmed one and auto adjusting headlights position.

I e-mailed them as the chat was hopeless to use. Got a respond to my e-mail and also redirected to dealer for accurate information. I think they are flooded with demands and everything is halted anyway so no info to give and probably also not that accurate with the system downtime.
