Omg really, they need to change it all That is very expensive indeed: headlight + working hours. But then i would suppose it should last at least 5 years right ?

It would be insane not to be in warranty. Only damage caused by yourself or pieces that are bad because of normal use as it ages and normal maintenance parts are not under warranty. So as a whole a lot is under warranty during the warranty period.

No there seems to be a function that the car will dry off the pads to be safer when raining. I believed it is fitted in all new cars (no idea from which year onward). Could be only active with wipers or other conditions. There is a topic here mentioning it.

I believe the scala has the dry function ? this could pre mature wear the pads and discs? Strange to change pads and disc on 17K Maybe you are a hard breaker ?

So i got a phonecall today for an update, was excited to see the number pop up for some good information... it looks like the whole war thing causes suplies shortage on a grand scale. So now the presumable build estimate is end this year... sigh.. (Skoda Scala model)

I think maybe that is the reason my dealer wont give me an estimate build date as i only had 2; oktober 21 and a presumably march/april 22 which got to unknown starting 22. And he only sais there is nothing of information available atm. It looks really bad and there is an only hope we will receive it before november 22 so we can use the new car for coming winter...

I have no info at all not a week, not an estimate if it will even be this year. Litteraly no info at all till date. From an estimate delivery oktober 2021 to no info at at all makes us decide not to go for a VW grp again as the next car.

I feel the same a lot of the time But with you at the same dealer is crazy 😕 At this point i think we will see the car in the summer or even later. There is no logic in Skoda's production and delivery system.

No it is private and allready payed few K in advance.

The only solution i was given is to cancel, he said he had no information at all and i allready asked about others that allr got their car while ordering later, he said he cannot comment on that and that he has no info at all and i need to be patient... if i cancel now i would be in it for another roller coaster with a much higher price

It is more for the anti fingerprints and visibility it offers

a bunch fleet orders surpassed my order and also private orders even with full options... There is no need to look into how they are doing it as it is utterly unorganized. And till date i still getting passed by orders from september while mine is end june 21, beginning july 21 and have nothing from information at all.

i have ordered one also from ali but waiting on the car. No idea when to receive it 😕

Glad you have something else delivered as it is indeed a ****show. I wish we went with BMW or bought a stock car right away. Next car will most probably be a BMW.

I wonder why they are hard to get as they are ordered least, maybe not that profitable. Send an email this morning to the dealer and still no news. I feel bad to keep on bugging him but it drives me crazy seeing laters orders complete 😢
