And the problem is if you need a new car, big chance problem will still be there in 2023 so it will be a waiting game. No idea if they put electric cars on top of the list tho as i think they want as much eco out there in 2021 for good stats.

Not from the UK but also from July and no build week and got a notice from dealer major problems with parts and stuff so new estimate is somwhere in 2022. No build date at all so its just a very long waiting time halas I counted on this year but turns out all skoda vehicules are delayed

There was an optional net that you could have taken in the config. Maybe they can retrofit that one or not strong enough? Perhaps send a mail to your dealer and ask possibilities for a quick release guard ?

That reset trick only resets the "learning" but not a complete reset/resync of the dsg. With vcds/obd11 yo u can re-arrange the dsg (needs specific temps range to do it and needs a system check before doing the actual resync). Works very good after few years to get it smooth again.

If i remember correctly chosing this option makes your car few cm higher.

I hoped to get the car this year, but don't think things will go better any time soon.

Just always put your foot on the break firmly and leave gear in D or S no need for neutral, it disengages the clutch. Even with an autohold i keep it on the brake because years of conditioning with a dsg without autohold

yess it is insane. Our dealer has no idea about the waiting time. The only answer i got is they are waiting for information just like i do and there are thousands of cars waiting to be completed. I got a new estimate as somewhere in 2022 without any date known. Looks like i am indeed in the same long waiting time as my last car...probably +8months delivery time.

It is very hard to bargain now with Skoda. I could only benefit the special discounts they had running that month. Trying to go to other dealers is impossible for a new deal as they are all under the same umbrella/system now. My previous car i had it discounted very good before they were under the same umbrella, but now it is just "this is it, you want it then i can order". It is also that they are selling all their cars like icecreams in the summer 😕

I believe the same camera is used for lane assist. Does that function still works? Best thing is to read the faultcodes to know what is happening.

Afaik it only greatly affects Enyaq, karoq, octavia's, fabia mk4, superb. Scala and Kamiq are 3-4 months. Maybe because they use less chips or most likely because they are not sold as much which shrinks waiting list for the chips

I suppose the very first maintenance is still at 1500km right to change breaking in oil to regular oil? or is also this not the case anymore? What i do remember is with maintenance at the dealer to say they dont need to top off cooling fluid or washing fluid because for a drop of fluid they charge a lot extra
