  1. There is no need to use super unleaded the ordinary unleaded is fine its a old engine designed to run on low grade fuel.
  2. Sorry just cannot understand the wanting of exhaust noise on a diesel, now say on cars like the Lambo or Ferrari now they do have a exhaust power noise.
  3. Sorry about your damage to your car I recently had damage done to my car was parked doing some shopping a local supermarket came back front driver side wing badly dented and scrapes on bumper.Rang insurance they told me to go to there trusted repairer got a estimate it was for £1095 to repair. Now I thought that was quite excessive and having to pay the first £250 of claim so went to my local repair guy who stated it would be cheaper to put a new wing on than to remove and repair. So I asked for a price new wing spray and refit and spray slight damage on bumper cost £185 they had car just 3 days. They rang and said they would deliver my car back home brilliant job just cannot see the marks and brilliant paint job all round.
  4. Have to agree most of the braking is with the front brakes and not the rears fronts are the best option for uprating the brakes. .

  8. Could be just the regulator have alternator checked.
  9. Like most cars its simply down to how you drive if you are the boy racer type that do racing wheel spin starts and drive flat out in every gear then expect quite a shortened life. But drive using common sense then there is no reason for the car to have a very long life with or without a remap.
  10. Have not polished or washed the wife's car for years just used a spray product called show room shine wife does more mileage and get her car far dirty than mine. And must admit her car looks better and more shiny than mine after spending hours of polishing with expensive wax products.
  11. If I wanted 300BHP or over I would sell my VRS and buy a more powerful car likely more cost effective
  12. I would most certainly doubt that especially if the cars original safety spec was compromised.
  13. Have to agree and could prove to be a expensive mistake unless rectified.
  14. 2001 MPI with 147000 on clock myself and wife have put 100000 of those, and its still going strong. And apart from a clutch and normal things like tyres, brakes, oil etc its been a very reliable car.
  15. There no such thing as nice noise from a filter unless you mean the growl of a V8 V12 engine now that is a nice noise.
  16. Another vote for Faboka how car acts on the road is more important than a bit of paper from a dymo many dymos are not 100% accurate.
  17. Have to agree but today many think go faster stripes and noise equals power
  18. Been there done that and got the T-shirt now fill up with whatever the cheapest fuel source I can find. In testing with several vans and cars found no difference whatsoever in using Vpower or any other fuel in the market.
  19. Cannot fault showroom shine fantastic stuff so easy to use have not washed my car with water for well over a year now.Its got a fantastic wet look deep shine finish that lasts very well and you can use it all over the car.So no need for expensive fancy named wax polish as this spray liquid does a equal or better job and have I tried most polish out there.
