  1. Received surprise email today confirming a build date. Perhaps Skoda are listening to customer complaints regarding deliveries. SKODA SUPERB DIESEL ESTATE 2.0 TDI CR 170 Elegance 5d DSG Rosso Brunello, second colour choice Amethyst Purple, but no indication RB is not available. Leather - Ivory with black carpets, 3 spoke multifunction steering wheel with audio and phone controls and gearshift paddles, Auto dimming rear view mirror, Electric boot release + automatic retractable parcel shelf, Floor mats, Heated washer nozzles, Keyless entry and start, Metallic, Mobile device interface, Park Assist, Space saver spare wheel, Sunset glass, Upgraded sound system, Wood decor Panoramic Roof Ordered date 4 May 2011 Build date received 22 June 2011 "Build/production week for your vehicle is week 35.2011, which is the week commencing 22.08.2011"
  2. Completely agree. Skoda seem to have a death wish by upsetting many would be customers. When I speak to dealers they seem to have a feeling of apathy or the unscrupulous ones just lie about delivery. Do any Skoda customers services people read and respond in Briskoda forums ? Do they read and understand "Skoda's Customer Promise" Fortunately I am in no rush for delivery, but it would be good customer service to receive confirmation of my order/ build date direct from Skoda, even if build date was 6 months away. Placed my order some six weeks ago, no build date or any communication from Skoda to date.
  3. Ordered Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI 170 Elegance DSG on May 04 with lots of extras including sunroof, supplier quoted 10/12 week delivery, also shown on order form. However sales guy indicated at least six months for delivery. I am in no rush, so long delivery is not a problem. Receive weekly email updates on progress.... all say build date not available so far. This is my second attempt to buy a Skoda Superb, the first dealer I approached in the West of Scotland was unbelievable! I ended walking out after giving them some very abrupt comments. With dealers like this and Skoda's black hole delivery system, must loose them a lot of customers. .... Why do they spend money on offers and TV adverts for cars they cannot supply ? Not only Superbs are effected, check out..... failed-promise.com For info, hopefully the problem with Rosso Brunello, the colour I've ordered, is over. Merck JAPAN, supplier of the specialty automotive pigment for this colour, restarted production in May and returning to full production in June.

Page 25/26 .....Setup....Comfort.....Door Open Says "Here you can switch on or off the functions for opening a single door and automatic closing, this also applies to the KESSY system*."   5. Dekagon, Thank you for the information. Confirmation of point 2 would be appreciated..... will keep my better half happy if radio/ windows still operate when I leave her in the car.
  6. Hi all from a future new Skoda Superb owner.... hopefully Looking for info on the Kessy keyless system. Can any users confirm how the auxiliary circuits are controlled... Normally position one on a key operated system. I am aware of the unlocking/ locking and engine start/stop operation. My Questions... 1... On entry to the car, can the radio and the electric windows be operated without starting the engine. 2... Is the radio and electric windows operational when the driver switches off the engine and leaves the car... does not lock the car, taking the Keyless transponder with the driver. 3... In the event of a flat car battery is there an emergency key to unlock the car. Thank you
