  1. theres a name for that feature which is on a lot of manufactures cars now,but the name for it has completely escaped me lol I think it's to do with the abs sensors
  2. I'm guessing you've obv checked for no external oil leak ??? no mention of this in you're first post i.e sump gasket, rocker cover gasket etc etc
  3. if the valve steam oil seals (or any fault causing burning oil) are away there would be blue smoke coming out exhaust, you said you've had it 2 years ? is that from new ? if so dought piston rings or valve steam seals are worn. but yeah, dont take oil cap of when running !!!
  4. some pics of my 1.6 sport, not the best pics in the world but was just trying out new phone cam after washing the car
  5. probaly easiest way and avoid running wire through bulk head to battery is to source the 12v supply to the ignition switch and tap into that.either source it from the steering couling covers or remove the covers for easier spot.it's the thicker wires, there should be a constant 12v and a 12v only with ignition on
  6. a good wire brush and some hammerite, job done

  9. i have used 3m di-noc on my prev car (ibiza) and it is really easy to mold and play with using a litlle heat as you go with either a heat gun on low or a hairdryer (this is what i used),even if you make a mess of it you just peel back off, heat it up and away you go again using the same bit.i wouldnt recommend anything els.
  10. I have "Oakley" style sunglasses and they fit just fine, as long as the lens end faces the front
  11. it's not to bad to use.apply a little heat as you go with either a hairdryer or heat gun on low setting.I plan to do a tint to my headlights but not got round to it yet on this car

  15. yep some cars can be very easy and some can be a absolute pain in the backside, window runners and seals all having to come out. if under warranty don't mess about with it
  16. sounds very much like estate man mentioned, I'd say thrust bearing worn.not a overlly easy fix though as it's a gearbox out jobbie and new clutch kit required.so can be expensive to fix due to labour rate as most garges charge roughly 3 hours for gearbox removal/fittment.
