BillyJim's post in Infotainment USB was marked as the answerNo, at least not that it gives you any advantage. I plugged an unpowered hub into the USB port and anything I tried plugging into the hub came up with a USB Error message. Plugging a single iPhone into the hub would charge the phone if nothing else was connected but it wouldn't recognise the presence of the phone.

BillyJim's post in USB & SD Maximum Memory Size was marked as the answerThis has been raised in previous threads. The limiting factor isn't the size of the drive but the number of files. When a device is attached (be it SD Card, USB thumb drive, HDD) the infotainment pre-scans the attached/inserted drive to create a log of the files and folders, thereby enabling the list by title/album/artist/genre menus and search function.
This limit appears to be about 10,000 (and a maximum of 1,000 files per folder). Exceed the limit and an error message will appear and any files beyond that limit aren't recognised.
For highest quality bitrate MP3 that generally equates to a little under 64GB, 32GB for medium bitrate.
So while the device can read all SD and HDD sizes (I connected a 2TB USB3 WD Passport drive which is when I first discovered this 10k file limit), anything over 64GB is likely to be a waste of space unless you're using a lossless format like FLAC (with file sizes typically ten times larger than the equivalent MP3) and/or video (Columbus only).
The only devices that are not afflicted by the file count limit are the iPod/iPad/iPhone where the file handling remains with the device and the infotainment doesn't need to pre-scan it.

BillyJim's post in First question, Light Assist was marked as the answerVCDS is a third-party cable/software that allows you to access the electronic heart of the car, namely the CanBus and the ECU. Virtually every electrical component in the car is connected to the CanBus and the processor that controls it all.
With VCDS you can modify the settings in the CanBus processor or monitor the engine performance through the ECU.
Some options require specific hardware to be present. In the case of the Light Assist you need the camera fitted, as this is what is used to detect the front and rear lights of other vehicles. That's why Gizmo was asking if you had the camera fitted.
This is not included. It is a cost option (£250 last time I checked) for both the SE and SE-L models.
Don't get it confused with AFS (Adaptive Front-light System), which is standard with all Bi-Xenon equipped models. AFS adapts the headlamp beams according to your speed and steering. Small motors adjust the bulb position to give the best beam pattern for the circumstances.
It also allows the dipped beam to be altered from driving on the left to driving on the right, as shown in the menu in your screen photo. It is actually excess to requirement as the beam will switch automatically when you drive on the continent.
AFS does not auto-switch between dipped and main beams.
On the assumption that you didn't specify and pay for the Light Assist option, you will be highly unlikely to get it enabled by the dealer.
The dealer uses a VAG analyser that is linked to the main Skoda server where all the details of your car are stored. It simply won't allow items like Light Assist to be enabled if you didn't pay for it in the first place.
All is not lost. Use Gizmo's VCDS Owners Map signature or use this link to find a VCDS owner in your vicinity, then send them a PM to ask if they can enable Light Assist for you (instructions on how-to are in this link).

BillyJim's post in Missing luggage net under the parcel shelf was marked as the answerI raised this a while back.
Were you even likely to get the net, there aren't any attachment points to fit it under the hatch cover.
So as well as the net you'll need a new hatch cover too, or start fitting your own hooks.
It's obviously not part of the UK spec - along with rear USB, Speed Limiter, higher ACC.
