  1. Just a quickie Which version of the Octavia can be fitted into the fabia Mk1/ Is it Mk1 or both Mk1 &2?? Chip
  2. Hmmm. Thought that might be the case. Not a quick mod then and all those broken clips grrrrrrr
  3. Thanks for the posts but i'm not sure we are talking about the same thing. Maybe it's me not being clear enough! I mean the plastic plates around the chrome inner door lock puller. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
  4. What about the rears? Thinking of wrapping them easy to remove & refit
  5. Can these be removed without removing door cards? Chip
  6. Found some dark brushed aluminium wrap which I'm going to use on some dash parts. Not too blingy. Has anyone found a neat way to cover the light switch and retain/fit new decals? Chip
  7. If the Scuttle panel is standard - How much and where are you? Chip
  8. I've got a cheap one off Ebay. I'll have a play with it and see what happens!
  9. Isn't the Fabia 12v socket permanently live. if so will there not be some current drain?
  10. That's why I removed the link cos its dependent on the switches being next to the lighter socket. No good for the Fabia!
  11. Sounds easy enough although I'm not a pro DIY'er. Anyone else done this??
  12. Ha! How do you do the usb thing?? Would be interested in that
  13. Surely if the Polo one goes in this one would somehow. I PM'd a guy who reckons (in an old thread) the the Golf Mk 4 on does but didn't say how.
  14. Hi Kristian Not had this problem but I hope you manage to fix it Chip
  15. Anyone got any thought on how this could be done? Here's what it looks like - must be DIN width Unlike the Polo twin ones, these will not be at an angle when in use..........
  16. Not standard on Elegance - well not my 54 Plate :wonder:
  17. Try this?? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rubber-Moulded-Universal-Fit-MUDFLAPS-Mud-Flaps-for-Skoda-MODELS-/390759801594?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5afb1962fa If not, try copying and pasting into browser
  18. Very nice! One problem with double dins is security. How do stop it being nicked? Chip
  19. Anyone fitted these to a Fabia? www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390759801594?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 They look a bit longer than the oem ones.........
  20. Mines at 82K and going strong. Look for one with good service history and at least 1 cam belt change if done more than 60K. Very reliable and economical I would say. The only real issue I've had is the door leaks (from my own experience) but it's an easy fix. I love my Fabia! Chip
  21. I like this Alpine unit - it's not too blingy. Anyone know how best to secure a double din that doesn't have removable faceplate?? Chip
  22. Just to make sure. I can fit 16's on my Elegance with no spacers etc.....
