Does any one know how easy it is to replace the prop shaft bush ? The car is up at Skoda in Colne at the moment on service. That was one of the things they picked up on, but I don’t really want to pay main dealer prices !

Does any one know if its easy to change the gear box oil on the 6 speed at all? is it a diy job or does the car have to go to the dealer ? its the manual gearbox if that helps

in therory if the car was jacked up and all 4 corners and with the engine running with 1st gear engaged would the 4x4 system engage at all?

Not wanting to hijack the thread but what does skoda suggest about getting thr haldex serviced? Ie is it mileage or time based?

on the subject of timeing belts does any one know what skoda suggest about timeing belt intervials on the 2 liter diesel?

Does any one know what skoda suggest about the minium pad thickness for the front and rear pads? The pads are getting a touch thin on the rear!

cant help with suggesting a decent firm but is there a vag speceilest near to where you live at all that can plug a laptop in?

I'd ask your local garage to change the pump and cam belt. I'm not sure if there are egr valves on your car. It might be worth while asking the garage if its possable to check them while there working on the car.

Ive tryed pluging in a dash cam into the ciggrett lighter. It doesent work st all. i cant find a fuse for it. does any one know where it is or dors the csr have to go to the dealer ?
