Im looking for another set of wheels for my octy to use for track days. an evening session at brands and a day at snet has pretty much ruined my first set of tires so i would rather have some wheels with track day rubber on. What size wheels/rubber can i get away with. I Have seen a few sets of audi/vw wheels on ebay but they are running wider tires and i dont know what will fit. Cheers

I havent bothered putting mine on because i actually like the look of mine with the black pack, seems almost a shame to ruin it. Although mine isn't a family or everyday car, its for me to be a chav in!!!

Any word on the system, my car will be back on saturday with the milltek system fitted so i will see what that is kicking out.

Im still yet to fit the grille on my car, my car is away with milltek at the moment but when it returns i will have a play fitting it and try and work out an easy way to change it back.

My vrs has been in twice in 2 weeks for the vibration, today it started vibrating so drove straight to the dealer for 8am, they took the car straight in and i went into the workshop to see what was happening. sun glass unit out, tested, still vibrating light unit out, tested, still vibrating took second mechanic out to test and found it was the frame that the sun glass holder bolts into. A few sticky foam pads and the problem was sorted. All happy now, and my car is going for its milltek system tomorrow so will probably unplug the sound gen anyway.

Does anyone that comes to this meet have vcds? i would like to get the lap timer turned on in my new octy vrs and would be happy buy dinner/drinks or part with cash for the service

Not having all the trims on i can see the tatty bits, but im sure the oem is tatty underneath. I do like the black pack, as i say the black grill has grown on me but as ive got the honeycomb i may as well. Has yours arrived yet and what colour did you go for?

Unlucky, they sent me a few free bits as they didn't update the order. i will take off my bumper and have a look, will let you know if i do.

Well looking at it closely i would say the quality is not a touch on oem quality.. cheers for the link, ill have a read, once ive got the oem one off hopefully i will work out how to swap them easily here are a few pics, see what you think.

After having my honeycomb grill on order for 3 months superskoda obviously forgot they had already sent me the rest of my order so i now have a spare set of bonnet power dampeners and a rubber boot mat for a saloon if anyone is interested. I would call them but im sure i will never get ahold of them.

Surplus to requirements £40 plus delivery unless you are close enough to collect.
