Well I just took off my drivers side door card an disconnected the multi pin plug at the bottom of the window regulator an the male side of the plug had 2 pins completely corroded off .. This seems to be the source of my drivers door central locking issue . Just wondering has anybody attempted a DIY fox on this or does the whole unit have to be replaced ????

Is there a way to space the rear probe out ? I'm hearing that term Alot but never understood it . I also get a rear lamda eml code every 100 or so miles after fitting a decat/downpipe. I just erase it everytime it pops up

Iv done alot of reading about this issue online since it was brought up on this post .. An it seems there's a number of areas the problem Could be.. Removing the wee panel at the bonnet release handle was my first port of call . Checked here for broken or split wires . All seemed ok . Next was the rubber booth which covered the wires going from the car into the door . All seemed ok here too . Although wthe wires in both areas seem very brittle and stiff :( .. Today I'm taking off the door car an having a look around again .

I'm getting the same eccentric . Although I only bypassed my n249 ... I think My spluttter at 3000rpm was there before I did the bypass though ... I'm not sure what it is . But tonight I got a p0171 code and an engine management light ... I believe this is a faulty MAF or a split vacuum hose ,?! I'm not sure are the two problems related . But I cleared the code an will investigate further

Iv this exact same problem . Iv had it for four months now . I haven't tried to fix it tbh . But I hope sumone can give answers

I'm getting a creaking noise from the front passengers side when breaking to a stop from My octy vrs ... Iv jacked that side an spun the wheel to try an replicate this noise and can't find anything . Ive been told it could be wishbone bushes ?? Any ideas

Did this today on my octy vrs . Plenty of guides on this site an the web to complete it. Took around 20 min . Very little items needed to complete ... Results are : well it seems to giv the DV a sharper noise when coming off the throttle an it seems to have reduced some of the surging I had between 3000rpm an 4000rpm when accelerating ...

My 03 vrs came with 16 inch vrs alloys? Not sure why though as I thought they all came with 17s

I'm not sure . I was given the part number off skoda an ordered it online from german auto spares . So I'm not sure .. I thought I was getting the correct one :(

I changed it as I made the mistake of adjusting my old one to try an reduce boost surge after a remap. I know it was stupid of me . But I was told that adjusting these renders them broken , so I wanted a new one fitted

Ahhh balls ... I'm planning on getting a different remap done .. Will I b ok to run with the e ?an have her remapped while the e is fitted ?

I just swapped my n75f for an n75e valve ... On my remapped octy vrs ... And the car seems alot less tame now .. Are these valves not all the same ?

Can someone tell me where to get a decent rarb upgrade ? Iv looked on eBay an it seems they all cost an arm an a leg :( ... Or are they just an expensive mod anyways ?

Jesus eccentric I feel sorry for ya man . I once had the same thing happen me too driving through Limerick city . Although it was a mechanic who had replaced a wheel bearing for me an never re torqued the wheel nuts . He got a right bollicking off me .. Hope you get it sorted bud

Here's a strange one for ye .... Iv been doing a few tests the last day or two on long motorway runs ... An my octy vrs seems to accelerate 100 times better on half throttle than it does on full throttle ????
