  1. A Mazda 121 (Ford Fiesta lookalike) decided to change their mind about waiting for a red light at a set of roadworks. A Mitsubishi Space Star cuts the roundabout in front of me, happens all the time!
  2. That's not the official Grand Tour Youtube channel, doesn't have the GT logo as the channel logo.
  3. Thanks FUBAR. I always do that if I see someone blocking a T-Junction as 9 times out of 10 they have to move!
  4. I think from memory he did have a rear reflector, but it wasn't reflecting much at all. That particular road is also quite busy, and he's riding down it with no rear lights (he had a front light), madness.
  5. Sadly I've had so many things go on while driving recently that I've had to do my first compilation! On this one: - Roundabout Cutter, who angrily reacted to me objecting to her lack of mirror usage! Ford Focus sticking to lane 2 when there's no other traffic around! A Skoda Superb driver who can't decide where to position himself at a T-Junction that he's blocking! Another lane 2 hogger, this time in a BMW X1, who did not react to me flashing lights and indicating left! A clever teenager decides to impress his mates by stepping out in front of my car, missing my wing mirror by millimetres. A cyclist riding down a pitch black unlit country road with no rear light! A white van ploughing through a big puddle! Another cyclist deciding to ride on the wrong side of the road towards me, despite me gesticulating to move over to the correct side of the road! On a side note, do any of you know a good free video editing program? I've used AVC to add the text but needless to say it doesn't look brilliant, could just be my non-existent viddeo editing skills though!
  6. Just looks to me like lane 1 is supposed to be segregated for the bus stops, hence the straightahead arrows in lane 2. IMO what there should be is either a proper bus lane in lane 1, or chevrons between lanes 1 and 2 to separate the lanes. Confusing bit of road, no wonder people do different things there.
  7. Appreciate they may have just been overly cautious, or maybe nervous driving at night, something like that, but was just annoyed by it. There was no-one coming up on the outside after they passed the roundabout sign so in my view they should have indicated right and moved over into the correct lane then, rather than leave it until they get on the roundabout itself.
  8. A Suzuki Ignis stops at a roundabout when there's nothing coming round, and then decides to go right using the incorrect lane. Not a clue. In hindsight I probably was a bit impatient and used the horn a bit too much but was just annoying, especially when he wasn't going left in the first place.

    TG news

They managed to carry on with the live shows after the 3 left the BBC, just without the Top Gear name, so presumably the same applies to any subsequent live tours.

    TG news

I can confirm that this indeed is from Clarkson, Hammond and May Live (saw it in Sheffield last year), and was not filmed for The Grand Tour. Incidentally, The Grand Tour's next studio filming location is going to be Whitby. I applied for tickets, don't know yet if I've got some.
  11. Had a set of H&R lowering springs fitted today. This is how it was sitting before (didn't take a photo of the car before, so had to dig this out from a while ago!): - And this is how it's sitting now. Should settle further over time: - Getting a Hunter wheel alignment tomorrow morning, but first impressions is that the ride is similar if not slightly better than standard and handling is pretty good too, although I won't push the car really until I get the wheel alignment done.
  12. SCR 44P - Strangely on a brand new Range Rover!
  13. I'm used to that on SWMBO's Kia Picanto so should adjust to it fairly easily.
  14. Thanks for the replies. I know the VXR8 will be an expensive car to live with, but I've done my research and think I know what to look out for. I know brakes are expensive for these, circa £200 per disc plus pad costs, so I'd ideally get one with recent discs and pads. There are a few specialists that can help with servicing (Walkinshaw Performance and Monkfish Performance are the big two) so that's not too bad. I don't plan on owning it very long, a year at most, so I could probably live with the fuel and tax costs in that time, and just have fun with it. The XFR sounds interesting, but I've never been a massive fan of Jags, plus the XFR looks just a bit too plain for me, which the VXR8 doesn't with the big rear wing and flared arches!
  15. For my next car I've got two choices in mind. A sensible choice, Mk3 Octavia vRS, or a mad, you-only-live-once choice, which I've settled on as being a Vauxhall VXR8. I'm a great fan of V8s, and I'm thinking if I'm going to own one I'd better own one before they go obsolete! Need a decent size car for family duties too, and the VXR8 seems to tick all the boxes! Just on the off chance, has anyone owned one, or know anyone who has owned one? Am I mad?!
  16. Spotted one on the M6 a few weeks back!
  17. Pretty sure I saw B33 FYS on a Range Rover earlier!
  18. Beading from SWMBO's Kia Picanto after being waxed with Angelwax Desirable last week.
  19. Joined too. Not much of a football fan but like the numbers game side of it!
  20. Another roundabout cutter, this time a young lad in a VW Polo. The lines on this roundabout are faded quite badly but they are still visible, so the Polo shouldn't have cut in front of me.
  21. Small world eh! He was heading towards the M6 southbound at the end of the M55, so I guess heading towards Manchester/Liverpool direction.
  22. Been over to Blackpool for the day today to see some relatives, some sights from the journey back. Stuck in a traffic jam on the M55 near to the M6 junction but was lucky enough to be stuck in it with a Vauxhall VXR8 next to me, massive V8 sounded epic! I may have had a crisis, literally...... Spotted a Morgan Three Wheeler on the M6 heading northbound. Love these cars, typically British and quirky, and that V-Twin engine sounds great!
  23. Glad someone agrees! Had a comment on the video on Youtube saying there was nothing wrong in the video! Granted you can't see me brake much but still.
