i wasn't sure about them either i hadn't seen them on a red car before. the Ebay one was 99p new in its box the other was from the stealer. So it wouldnt have been a hugew loss if i didnt like them but i do. Can't wait to tint the windows now lower it and get new bigger wheels. just need some ebay auctions to go my way first.

how do i get to them to take the old ones off. I cant get to the inside lower nuts cos of the black plastic trim which i can see any screws in. should it just pull off? i was being kinda careful dont wanna break anything.

well mine does that in the opposite conditions here in scotland with the ligjhts wipers and heaters on the revs rise and fall at idle. as for the warm air thing it sounds to me like you might need new cold stuff in your fridge.

You aren't looking in the right place then. Ebay will have hundreds of them. its a very common vag grouip part and its used on Audi A4's A6's and A8's and some vw.s aswell. where are you? Halfords sells them. as for web sites Eurocarparts.com Your Skoda dealer will sellyou smoked ones form a VRS.

the rpm thing is normal i take it you mean at idle. its because the ac puts extra load on the engine. as for the warm air did it get cold after a few minutes?
