  1. As title. Had this removed today to compliment the Miltek. What a great little mod to transform the sound of the VRS. Car sounds nice and throaty on start up and not to loud when driving at normal pace. Put your hoof down and it gives a cracking growl. Best £70 I've spent in a while. Flow has also improved as has the whistle from the turbo and SC as they have increased in volume. Phil.
  2. H&R 40mm with H&R RARB on mine. Great mods that have transformed the handling and ride. Phil.
  3. Yeah I'll get one up. Going to do a full review about my recent mods in the next few days. Phil.
  4. I have just fitted a cat back Miltek to mine on Friday gone and there is a little bit of exhaust drone TBH. As mentioned though the road noise is louder. The centre section is getting removed on Saturday so hoping the growl will be a bit better. Phil.
  5. It does sound nice. Centre section out next week so will sound a little more throaty. [emoji106]. Phil.
  6. In all honesty there are a lot cheaper exhaust options so choose wisely. Miltek is expensive and I still need to have the centre section delete done. Yeah the ride is firm but not much worse that std IMO. Car is more planted though and gives you more confidence to stick it in the bends etc. Handles like a go kart now. Phil.
  7. Agree on that Furbytom. Centre box will be out in the next week. Phil.
  8. Cheers bud. Need the centre section out now to get the real noise. Phil.
  9. New H&R springs fitted today (bottom pic & before top of the double pic). H&R RARB and Miltek cat back also fitted. Drove about 20 miles so far and the car feels tight on the bends and much more planted. Ride is still comfy and not to harsh. Sounds a lot more throaty with the new exhaust. Phil.
  10. All good info chaps. Defo getting shot of that section. Phil.
  11. Can't fault the quality though. Had one on my old MKI and it was spot on. Phil.
  12. Will see in a week or so. Looks like an easy mod to do and a local garage to do it. Phil.
  13. phil555 on there but mainly for my other passion of vintage adidas trainers. Phil.
  14. I'm going Miltek cat back in a week or so. Will that remove the section or do I need something extra? Phil.
  15. I live in New Brancepwth which is 2 miles from Meadowfield. My parents live there. Drop me a PM mate if you fancy a catch up etc. Phil.
  16. I used these on the interior and boot. No issues at all and no faults on the dash. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350927055110 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190984998569 Phil.
  17. Hard to tell with the OEM tyres on the VRS as they are to noisy to notice anything else. Saying that there is a noticeable difference when the window is slightly down. Phil.
  18. No probs pal. Just a word of warning, make sure you don't catch the door seal with an edge as they're quite sharp. I nicked my seal today. Don't se shy in bending them either as they take a little bit of manipulating.
  19. No probs. Yeah I used the tape. Looked like it served no purpose at first with the window down but when the windows are closed it has pushed the seal against the deflector and secured quite well. Phil.
  20. Yeah they come with some 3M tape but they're a really tight fit to. The metal clips in the pack is what I left out. The below link are the type I bought. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370881463221 Phil.
  21. I never put them in pal. The window was catching on the top corner so I trimmed it back slightly which resolved the issue. Phil.
  22. Yeah easy to fit. Little bit of trimming required as the windows where hitting slightly. Phil.
  23. Just fitted my Team Heko version today. Easiest mod to fit IMO. £30 delivered off eBay. Phil.
