Hi all, on first start up I'm getting the very faint siren noise but only for the first 10 ish seconds from cold!! Is this an early sign of turbo going or just something sticking? What causes the siren noise? Basically question is have I got an easy fix or is it wait for turbo to let go and replace?? Cheers all in advance!!

Hi guys, Anyone know if you can buy the front top spring seats/cups on their own? Wanting to build lowered damper and spring set as complete to swap straight over and think these are all I'm missing now! If expensive new ie skoda only anyone and used ones?? Cheers

Smart referb job, looks a very tidy fabia, nice ride height! Together all works well and makes a cracking looking motor! Well done. Prefer the look of 16s to 17s on a fabia! I maybe biased though!!!!

Reset light, fault code 16705 am I right in thinking its crank sensor??

Thanks for that! Checked lamps and all ok! I know someone with vcds so will hopefully try that tomorrow! Should just need switching off or could it require new sensor?? All suggestions greatfuly received! Cheers all

Thanks Vindaloo! The light only came on as the car was bumped off but is still flashing and other light still on! Blown bulb as in head light brake light or something to do with plugs?? Thanks again

Sorry to kick off an old thread! Had this today leaving me stranded!!! Ended up bumping off!!! I have since repaired the broken wire and lengthened it as recommended!! Question now is coil/ plug warmer light is flashing and the engine light is on with ignition?? Just need switching off you recon!! Briskoda to the rescue again!!!!

I removed the complete grille to work on it in the house, less fiddly when on your lap! Just need a torq bit and 8mm spanner to remove bonnet release I think? But yes those arrows look about right from memory!

Had 5 16" spiders done at cas too, shot blast and coat, didn't have much damage but all gone now, like new. I went for lacquered option! Very impressed!

I though flashing a seperate light that was not lit already would be more noticeable than one that was on dipped already! Not after lighting the world with them!!
