  2. in my opinion i think it looks better with the covers, makes it look a little more sleek with the red roof line going unbroken from front to back. also what youve gotta think about is if theyve had the covers on for a lon gtime, the colour may have faded on the rest of the car and the covered part has stayed the same, may look a bit odd.
  3. As far as im aware its a power steering fault, by the scan it looks to be something about it as well "Address 44: Steering Assist Controller: 6Q0 423 156 G Component: Lenkhilfe 0004 Coding: 00110 Shop #: WSC 00000 2 Faults Found: 01290 - Reference Voltage: Steering Assist 29-00 - Short to Ground 01314 - Engine Control Module 49-00 - No Communications" by the looks of it your steering assist is just a little low on voltage from the results on vagcom, i thought it might have been something to do with the engine immobiliser as that came up as a fault on vagcom but that lights a car silhouette with a key inside. To be honest im just guessing but im pretty sure its something to do with the power steering, if you have an owners manual it explains all the dash lights in that, if not il have a look in mine tomorrow and get back to you.
  4. Il be a new face turning up provided iv'e passed my test on wednesday, should be good to meet some new people. Brimma - JPS Octavia/Fabia Monte Carlo Softscoop - Fabia vRS vrsadz - fabia vrs jtb1994 - Fabia
  5. To be honest it ust looks like an afterthought from VW... I had a look at the Up! and thought the styling, advertising and market for the car was amazing, they have thought everything through and dotted every i and crossed every t with it. then someone in the boardroom said "well what about skoda we own them we should make a car for their market?" everyone sort of nodded and the Citigo is born... I think the styling on the front is wrong, they've taken a step back in styling and it just looks a bit cheep and tacky compared to the Up!, the main thing i think that is wrong is the grille, modern design likes sleek and minimalistic, so sticking a huge gaping whole on the front of a tiny car just doesnt work. The main thing that bugs me though is that steering wheel, it looks okay in the yeti because its sort of chunky like the rest of the car but its UGLY!! they need to get something better in for the smaller cars like this citigo and the fabia because it ruins the look of the interior for me.
  6. just thought id introduce myself on here,, my names Jack and im a 17 yr old new driver, my first car is the 1.4 fabia i have just bought and hopefully il be driving it soon as my test is on the 18th. ive been looking forward to driving since i was a kid and its a dream come true to be able to have my first car, insurance is still steep even on a car like this but that the price you play for a stereotype... hopefully i will be posting on here often and i hope to be chatting with a fair few of you regularly nice meeting you!
