  1. It's a wonderful sight to see πŸ‘ This flew over recently, although a little beyond the reach of my camera. Certainly more audible than visible.
  2. Best I could manage of this morning's Solar Eclipse🌞🌝 I stacked a Polarising filter with an ND8 and used a shutter speed of 1\16000 (my camera only has a min aperture of f8, so not ideal). I'll need better a better ND filter next time!
  3. This might be a option - certainly improved driveability of my 2023 manual 1.5 TSi Carista
  4. I can only second the Lumix suggestion(s) above πŸ‘ I currently have both a TZ70 (1/2.3" sensor compact camera) and FZ1000 (1" sensor bridge camera).
  5. The Superb looks lovely - hope it serves you wellπŸ‘ Strangely the Karoq seats haven't caused us any particular concern, although I'm with you on the torsion beam rear end. Having previously owned a number of Skoda's, including 4 Yeti's (and numerous Octavia's and Roomsters) this Karoq is by far the least satisfying Skoda I have owned thus far. The main redeeming feature of my current car is as a March 23 it doesn't feature lane keeping assist, or any of the more intrusive supposed driver 'aids'. I considered swapping to a 2.0 TSi Karoq but would object to the VED payable year 2-5.
  6. Spotted our first Lambs last night - had a drive out to watch the sunset and drink a hot chocolate from a lay-by...... Lovely Crepuscular Rays before sunset although my phone didn't do a great job of capturing them.
  7. A few more from today...............................
  8. Cedar Avenue (@Clumber Park) is beginning to Bloom 🌼 Interesting use of REBAR in the stumpery!
  9. A couple from yesterday's brief walk. One of those Drakes is going to be dissapointed as there can be only one βš”οΈβš‘
  10. More here: Timing belts
  11. Welcome to the forum. It'll be a dry cam belt.
  12. After being awake from 3:30am and failing to spot the Lunar Eclipse I was driving along at 18:30 and there was a Red Moon! Unfortunately didn't have my camera with me so just a phone 🀳
  13. Thought I'd get a coffee at the local reservoir after my pre-dawn sojourn and spotted an odd (? leucistic) looking duckπŸ€”
  14. Tried a few different spots but too cloudy unfortunately. The Moon put in a very brief appearance but not much to see sadly☹️ On the plus side I got to watch the sunrise and listen to the dawn chorus πŸ¦πŸ™‚
  15. The sad thing is I'm old enough to know exactly how that cars interior will smell the moment he opened that door! https://youtube.com/shorts/AQc3tdp6v-A?si=ngwYSNXA9QoWss5V
  16. It's been lovely to see the sun this weekend 😎
  17. The blooming birds woke us up before 6am😬 Would have missed it otherwise though😁
  18. Grand sunrise this morning 😎
  19. Flew over this morning - looked for a moment like it was taking our neighbours chimney pot with it!
  20. Lovely sunset this evening and The Moon and Venus were bright in the sky ✨
  21. Mine has had all the bulletins and a new steering motor. The noise remains 😬
  22. Not able to walk far currently, so was chauffeured in my own car! Lovely colourful skies on the way back
  23. 23.5 gallons apparently! Makes my Jag's tank seem weeny by comparison 😁
  24. Can only imagine the fuel tank is sufficiently capaciousπŸ‘
  25. How about this for a quality tow car? Warrants a better caravan though surely πŸ€”
